Last weekend Olivia and I were at Pioneer Village in Annandale for my Detective Trials. It is such a fun place to see and visit, I want so show you some of the things we saw there. The old church and school buildings were in my post on Tuesday.
It is right next to the railroad and we did have trains go by while I was searching. They blow their whistles really loudly and the noise was crazy! Thankfully, it did not scare me in the least. Olivia posed at the train station. Later on the first day, she got to do a fun search in the depot before we went home. She felt happier after that since she was mad she didn’t search all day.
The staging area for my first search was inside the fire building with old fire equipment. Mom likes to take photos while we wait. It keeps her from getting nervous.
After the trials we could walk around and we got a shot of part of my first search area of the day. I searched in the doctors office, the jail where I had to go into a jail cell to find the hide, the town hall, dentist office, and the general store.
My furs could use some grooming but the barber shop was closed, too bad.
In between my searches, Mom likes me to nap and tank up on my energy. It is mentally exhausting doing the searching. Right off the parking lot is a nature trail. Mom and Olivia went there for a little walk while I was snoozing.
Finally I will leave you with the harness and buggy shop. Pioneer Village is really a cute place and it is open to the public. They could use some support to keep up this amazing museum like place. If you are in the area, stop by and check it out. We hope we can come back another time for more sniffing fun!
We are joining our friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard is for their Nature Friday blog hop.

Pioneer Village sure has a lot of cute antique buildings.
You should see all the old stuff inside too, amazing!
that is a wonderful place…. we specially liked the anchestor of the fire fighter truck… we bet we could do a lotof mischief with that ;o)
LOL, I bet you guys could!
What a great place to both compete and explore!

It is really a fun place for people and pups.
Do you guys live in Disneyland?
No, but we have been to Disneyworld, at least the entrance then we were told no dogs.
What an exciting, curious place! Thanks for taking us with you!
It has a ton of history and we dogs had to be very careful not to damage anything.
Looks like a lovely place to appreciate history and reflect how different life was back then!
Mom says it was a super hard time for living but maybe a good time as well.
Awesome doggies in a fun place ~ thanks, hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Thank you, it was a fun spot to sniff around.
You find the most fun places to have sniffing trials and share photos. Hugs to you 3 and your devoted Mom

We just enter trials that look fun sometimes otherwise always schools and camps would get boring.
We love these historic places! These are awesome photos. Happy Friday!! your friend Chester
The insides were even more amazing. In my one search of the tiny cabin I got my nose into a bear skin rug and didn’t want to leave. It smelled amazing!
That does look like a fun place and the buggy shop looks pretty cool too!
All the buildings are so interesting.
What a cool place! It’s always fun to tour and remember what things were like, it also makes me more thankful for what we have now.
Life would have been hard for humans back then and dogs didn’t have the great life we now have either.
More fun scenes to pose at! Love seeing you guys having so much fun.
We have had a lot of fun in our sports the past couple months this year. More to come hopefully.
