Yeah, cottonwood snow! My childhood home yard had at least three large cottonwoods in it. It was definitely a sneezer! At least you don’t get wet like real snow, but the buds are STICKY and sharp and leave you with yucky fingers. Do they stick to Bailie’s fur?

They don’t stick to my furs too much but they stick to my leash and harness.

Yeah, this June snow is kind of fun but it gets tickles our noses too.

Cotton trees. They make quite the mess but thankfully we don’t have any in our yard.

It sure looked like snow but it was just cotton fluff, not a lot of fun like snow.
None of us here would appreciate snow in June LOL!

It is cool by summer standards but it is just cottonwood stuff flying around that looks like snow.

I actually thought it was snow at first until I read the comments!
At first glance we thought so too and then we remembered it is summer and it is only on some yards. A little WW fun.
We’ve been having rain showers nearly every day which has kept the cottonwood trees from ‘snowing.’ 😁
We had some dry days when they really started to snow but then we got a rain storm and that ended that.
