Sunday on the way back to the hotel from my ELT-P Trial, we stopped in Fenton, MI to take part of the sculpture walk. We saw the town on our way to the trial and then found out they have a whole bunch of sculptures set up as a walking tour. After being in the car most of the day for my trial, a walk is a good idea.
The town itself is absolutely adorable! It is very old, well kept and completely decorated. We found an old fashioned gazebo in the middle of the city, right along the Shiawassee River.
They have an actual walking tour map with all the sculptures. The Graceful Dancer is the first one we found.
Next up is a sculpture named Great Lakes.
Our favorite sculpture of all is, The Game. It is right off the main street and looks very real.
How about a house? It is rather simple and boring but somehow interesting too.
Nelson wanted to pose by this old city fire engine. It is in really good condition and it belongs to a popular restaurant that has a huge outdoor patio.
The Steel Butterfly is the fanciest sculpture we came across. It is right in the middle of the city by the gazebo.
For us, the funniest sculpture is named Grateful Fred, aka, Heavy Metal.
We parked our car on the street right next to the Rubik’s Cube. This was the last sculpture we found on Fenton, Michigan. There are quite a few more but it was hot and we were tired, so we stopped after finding all of these. Mom says this town is also ideal for anyone who wants to do some shopping but we didn’t do any shopping on our visit.
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.

The sculptures are all awesome and we love The Game best too! They need some of Bailie’s birthday cake on their table!
LOL, those guys would have gobbled up my birthday treats!
WOW! Those sculptures are truly cool! Thanks for sharing them with us!!!
We found some fun ones by accident, LOL!
That was a lovely day. We like the ‘Great Lakes’ one the best.
We would have liked to find more but it was hot out and we wanted to get back to the hotel for our dinners.
Each is so very different from the next … cute little town. Have to look it up on a map. In spite of living in Michigan for many years, admit to never hearing of it!!!
It is the most adorable old town, so well kept, flowers all over the place, homes in pristine condition, lots of little stores. It is adorable.
What a lovely little town! I noticed not just the sculptures, but all the blossoms as well. I do like seeing a well-kept smaller town.
It is really well kept and lots of little shops to go in as well.
Wow! We love this so much Grateful Fred is our favorite! Guess what? We moved! I had to stay with my cousins for a few days while mom did moving stuff. Today she picked me up and we just walked around our new neighborhood. I love it! I am sorry glad to be back with Mom. Have a great day. your friend Chester

Mom says it is like a living Mayberry, so cute, clean, well kept and all the decorations. Just adorable.
Where are the birthday pictures.
On Wednesday was the party photos. If you got the email today then scroll down to see Tues, Wed, and Thurs which were all not sent.
What a cool place Fenton is, we loved the butterfly and Grateful Fred a lot!

Nice sculpture walk. I especially liked the gazebo, but all are enhanced by the pups. 🙂
