We are thankful for a perfect summer evening earlier this week. It was not too hot, light breeze and clear skies. I was out sniffing around but then Nelson showed up and wanted to get a round of chase and wrestle going.
Mom had the settings wrong on the camera, so we didn’t get many shots of the chase part of our game.
After some racing, Nelson decided to use me as a chew toy.
That got us going a bit more crazy.
I was able to get the upper paw for a bit and grab him like he had grabbed me.
The good news is that I am faster than Nelson, the bad news he is so very strong. Once he gets a hold of me, I’m toast!
I am not able to get a good position to try to get away from this beast.
Okay, okay, I’m pinned, you win Nelson! It is all in fun and it was a perfect summer evening to have this kind of fun.

It has been nice but we are headed up towards 100 again on the weekend, bummer.

It is so fun to play in the cooler are and race around on the grass.
Just like the Z Kids! They get their chase and wrestle games in whenever they can, though it’s been too hot for it outside this week. It’s really nice outside right now, but I’m afraid it won’t last for long.
It’s rainy here and that is a mess so not much yard time today.
Summer evenings are perfect for a bit of bitey face!

We had a lot of fun for two days and then the rain came and as it leaves, the heat and humidity is coming back.
You are having Grand fun! Sending you sympathy on your weather. We are not looking forward to the next couple of months out here.
Every day, winter is one day closer. That thought keeps us going.
