Morning on the St. Croix is so peaceful and beautiful. On our way to my trial Sunday we stopped to take a little walk along the river. The weather was perfect and it is a nice way to relax and spend time together before getting to the stress of a trial. Behind me in this photo is the marina in Stillwater.
There were already a lot of boats out on the river. The boat launch had at least a dozen cars with trailers parked there. You can’t see the boats in this photo as they were further down the river. Water early on a pretty morning is very relaxing and we really enjoyed our short walk. We then hopped back in our car and drove over the river to Wisconsin about five miles to the trial site.

There was a light breeze all day, perfect weather day!
that place has the perfect name… it sounds like a howliday and peace and silence and good food…
It is an historical town but very busy in the summertime.
That is a great way to prepare for a scent trial – just relax!
Take time to hang out, breathe, and then get to the sniffing.
Being on the water early in the morning is just good for the soul. It is a special kind of peaceful. Have a blessed week.

I would love to have walked with you. When we boated we watch many boats get launched. Always fun to see the ones that know what they are doing and those that don’t. Great entertainment.
