We are super thankful for our navigator and nanny! It is a major help for Mom since she can get lost going around the block, and it is nice for us if we don’t have to sit in the car all day when the other one of us is trialing. We’ve been traveling as a “bunch” for over four years now, often with three of us as Madison was usually along. All of us just love having another human to help and hang out with our mom. Our navigator loves to travel so she likes to travel with us.
Since we know our navigator/nanny well, it is fun to hang out with her when we travel. One of us usually sleeps on her bed so she isn’t lonely too.
Nelson had a great two days with her as his nanny while I was at my trial in Maine. She enjoys having someone to walk with too.
We have traveled so much together, she even knows to take photos when Mom isn’t with us. Mom loves getting photos of the dog who isn’t with her while we are hanging out at our trial.
In Maine, she and Nelson found this cute little lighthouse which makes a nice photo.
It’s good for the dog who stays behind and the nanny to get some fresh air and nature. Nelson had a fun time discovering a new trail in the woods.
When the nanny is working, Nelson is happy to nap. When he wakes up his hair can be a bit of a mess but the nanny gets the head furs down before they go outside.
We even get to find interesting history information when we are out and about.
After spending the day with Mom at a trial it is nice to give our navigator and nanny some GBGV love.
Having a nanny is nice for all but the most important thing Mom loves is the navigator. She is always on her phone map or her atlas. Mom still turns in the wrong spots even with a navigator but she gets us back on the right road. We sure are lucky to have her and I think all of us are super happy to travel together!

What a gift to have such a wonderful nanny and that lighthouse is the perfect size for you, Nelson!
We took some fun adventure walks the two days when Olivia had her trial. It is nice to not have to sit in the car all day and not get to sniff myself. We really appreciate her keeping Mom from getting lost too.
thats so wonderful to have such a friend who is there for you … yay for your nanny
It works perfectly for us and for Mom since she is always lost without a navigator.
Having a travel buddy is wonderful – for all of you! Makes everything that much more fun.
It is really nice for us and for Mom too.
We agree, having a copilot is always better. Your Nanny seems like a pretty cool lady!!

Rosy & Sunny
Mom needs a copilot as she is always getting lost even with navigation and we like having someone to hang out with besides Mom sometimes.
Yey! for Nanny ~ cool lady and great photos of you sweet doggies as always ~ hugs,

Nanny is great but the best thing is the navigator since Mom is terrible with directions.
That was a fun post and nice thankfuls too! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We are lucky to have our navigator/nanny on most of our trips.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh your navigator is a wonderful and OMDs she is your nanny too. That is super duper cool
Hugs cecilia
It works out well for all of us, we are lucky to have her.
Hooray for the navigating nanny! My Bigger Girl says, “Mom, I could get lost in a shoebox” so I get it, it’s nice to have someone along who can help.
Our mom is terrible with directions and she can’t read a map either. Without nav life would be tough and without our navigator travel is scary sometimes as we found out on our Maryland trip when we had to go with just Mom.
Nannies make for great travel companions and friends. Glad you guys are a special one who loves traveling with you.
We are really lucky and it works out so well. We had to do our Maryland trip without her and we got lost several times.
Nannies are the best!! Your mom and you all are so lucky to have her. Glad she enjoys her job.
Nanny is good as sometimes it is nice for Mom to have help when we are traveling but for her, navigator is the most important job or we would always be lost!
