Mom says I am her foggy doggy. Funny thing is the fog behind me in this photo was super thick but the phone turned it blue! It was so thick we could not see the pond behind the weeds. This weather is not anything liked at our house! Sun is rare, fog is thick, and the ground is squishy and messy.
The parking lot snow piles look terrible! All the snow and dirt mix together and it takes a long time for these piles to melt because of all the dirt in the snow.
We still take our usual morning walks but the fog in the air is wet which means our furs are really wet when we get back home. Often the temperature is right around freezing so ice forms on the walkways in some places which is hard to see in the darkness of the fog.
Even after sunrise the fog still creates a thick film like this water tower that is only half a block from us but is just a shadow with the fog. It is actually painted in bright bold colors on top but the fog covers the color.
Hopefully the sun will come out more and get rid of the fog and all the wet ground soon. We all still love our walks but it would be nice to be rid of this fog. Rain is coming, hopefully it won’t freeze and become ice. Spring is so ugly and makes such a mess out of our furs. What a bummer.
Bailie wants to remind everyone, except those few lucky people, to move your clocks ahead an hour this weekend. If you forget, you will be running an hour late!
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.

Wow – it really is very foggy. Good thing you have your lighted collar on, Olivia!
We wish we could stay in standard time and do away with DST. Sunday morning will be much darker when we wake up.
Between the disgusting weather and switching time again we could just howl! Oh well, it is what we have so we have to live with it. We don’t mind dark in the morning but all this rain/snow/ice/mud is getting old right now. Either give us spring or let us keep winter but the back and forth is frustrating.
We agree that changing the clocks is silly – and hazardous! Need to pick a time zone and just stay there.
Stay safe in all that fog.
Every time people vow to stop changing the time and a week later all is forgotten. It will never happen and it really is the dumbest thing!
The fog is kinda pretty, but we know it gets old…fast!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
And it is so wet, our furs are soaked from walking in it.
Fog is not pretty but I am thankful for the time reminder.
Changing time isn’t pretty either but these are human things we have to deal with.
I loved seeing your walk! That is a lot of fog, though. :O Happy FriYAY!
It is ugly out. Today is just light rain, dirt and mud. We need a hot, sunny, windy day to dry out things around here.
Whoa jumping foggy Friday. I was gonna comment on the blue of the sky. Most amazing how the fog turned blue.
I am a huge fan of fog. Great Nature Friday
Hugs Cecilia
Fog is rather creepy and it is so wet. It is better than rain but not by much in our book.
Oh sweet doggie in the Fog ~ you make anything look good ~ hugs~ ^_^
It is foggy here today after we got snow cover ~ so a very gray day for sure ~Be cozy ~

We have had way too many gray days this winter.
You are sure right, that looks like some darn ugly weather. I hope it improves for you all soon!
It has been pretty ugly a large part of this winter because of the too warm air.
Fog is not our friend either! for the same reasons as you stated. tell your mom to take a flashlight on days like this so that she does not slip on black ice and get a head injury!!!
If there is much of a chance of any ice, she wears her icebugs, they are so amazing!
It’s fog season here, too. Spring and autumn seems to have just the right temperatures and humidity for foggy days.
It is nasty, so damp and our furs get all wet from it.
Wow, that really is foggy! We rarely get fog in the Denver area (it’s rare to have that amount of humidity). But it’s super mysterious and fascinating. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Fog is always good in the fall around Halloween but this time of year it is just a pest. It is so wet and full of moisture and it is super creepy too.
