We found some snowless fun the other day in the backyard. It was colder after a sunny, windy day and Mom let us go out to play in the yard for a bit. Of course, we had energy to burn so the chase was on! I’m getting started with the “Nelson Grab”. Some day it will be a famous hound move.
Racing along, I realized Olivia had some food in her beard. You know me, it is all about the snacks and I managed to grab the crumb for a snack. She doesn’t mind one bit.
Olivia would be happy just racing around all day but I really enjoy the attack/wrestle part. It’s no wonder she loves going running with Mom in the mornings.
Look at this photo! Can you even tell who is who and which head belongs where? I suggest starting to sort it out by finding our noses first.
Mom says I’m a big strong guy, but I can still fly and here I go flying.
Olivia is lighter than I am and she can get more altitude I think, especially with her speed!
Wait, is the game over already? Come on Olivia, play some more chase with me, please? It felt so good to be outside playing after a few days of Mom not letting us be in the yard!
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.

We love watching the two of you play together and you are clearly very happy to be outside racing around in your yard, Nelson!
Olivia and I are always up for some chase and wrestle games…even in the hotel room which Mom tries to keep us from doing.
your eyes while running like rockets… fantastic…
Olivia is crazy eyes, that is what Mom calls her when she gets wild.
Outside playtime is definitely the best!! We heard you may get some more snow this weekend, paws crossed for you to have some snow zoomies again soon!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
We are in Louisiana this weekend but Bailie is home for the storm. If it happens, it will probably still all be there when we come back Tues night, paws crossed. Hopefully someone will have our driveway cleared too, LOL!
You can fly!!!!! Awesome!
We love flying on any surface, grass or snow.
I just love your playing pictures. Brings me happiness.
Playing brings us a lot of happiness too, as you can see 🙂
WOW!!! that’s tearing up the turf!! Love the single headed two nosed photo! took me a while to disconnect the two of you! Are you coming to Perry, GA and running FASTCAT?? IF so, you will see me there- I may be a light weight, but I am currently in third place GBGV-wise. Your friend in Speed and wrestling, Lydia
We are going to be there for Mom’s sniffing seminar as we are her demo dogs and for fun we are both doing Barn Hunt Senior as we need some Q’s and Olivia is going to run CAT. Both of us are retired from FastCAT, me with FCAT2, Olivia has her FCAT3
OMDs that was such fun…I felt like I was there watching in person.
I love how you make your own fun
Hugs cecilia
We are two crazies when it comes to chase and wrestle.
Wow! What fun you are having and Mom took great photos of you ~ hugs, ^_^

She loves to see us and has fun with the photos too.
Such fun and I love all those happy faces!!!
We had a ton of fun. Chase and wrestle is the best!
Watching you two is such fun! You remind me of years ago when I was taking care of Little Girl’s dog Coda, who would play with Jasmine from up the street. They did this, too.
We all do it when we are young but then when we get older we can’t do it anymore.
Sometimes you just gotta have a good old fashioned game of chase and catch.
Chase and wrestle is our favorite thing to play together.
