We went to Wisconsin yesterday for some AKC Scent Work, more on that tomorrow. Mom read online that the Ellsworth Creamery had taken down their old mural and put up a new one. Back in 2022, Bailie, Nelson, and I went to Ellsworth for a trial and took this photo of us three with the mural. It was Nelson’s first time going to a trial and he was also learning to pose. The photo came out really nice and we have always fondly remembered it.
Fast forward to 2026. Nelson is now four years old, not four months, and he has finished his AKC Masters and Detective titles. He has done a lot in four years! Since there is a new mural, you know our Mom! This immediately went on the list of things we needed to see and take a photo of. Since we were in trials in Ellsworth, we went a bit earlier and stopped to see the new mural and snap a photo. Bailie isn’t interested in this kind of thing at all, so Mom took the photo of just me and Nelson.
What do you think? Does one mural Mooove you more than the other? If so, which one? We really like both of them. It is hard to say which we truly find to be the better one. The new one seems to really put that cow out front and center. Since one needs a cow to make cheese curds, we are leaning towards the new mural.

We were sad they changed it but it is nice to have some change as the other one had been there for a long time.
Both murals are cute – each includes different things of the area; although the cow in picture #2 is really BIG – we wouldn’t want to meet up with her!

She would have been a hot mess driving an hour and then spending the day in the car while we searched and an hour home. She went to Gramma’s party last weekend and that was a big event for her. As she ages, she tolerates things even less than before, sadly.
Both murals are great because you two pups are in them ~ you do travel to fun places ~ Hugs ^_^

We love both their murals but the new one is our fave with the big cow.
There’s always one family member who doesn’t like photo sessions.
I like the composition of the new mural. There is a nostalgic feel to the simplicity of the old image but I do like the new spirit of the the current mural.
Bailie is great about modeling but she just can’t be in the car so she is pretty much at home or out on walks and that is it these days. Age has made her issues like the car worse.
Reminds me of my youth. We lived on a dairy farm and that’s how I grew up.

The new mural looks like a really nice update!
Since it is seen by everyone that shops there, an update now and then was a good idea.
Like you, I think they both have their good points, but just about everything needs updating once in so often.
It was time as people don’t notice it anymore since it was always there. Now the new one catches the eye.
Oooh, it’s hard to say which one is better-they’re both terrific!
They are both fun ideas for a really popular place.
