Tuesday morning Mom took me to our family vet for the first time. I was at a vet in Alabama but Mom likes to get her puppies checked out when they come to live here. It was my turn. Everyone was super nice to me and it was not scary at all.
They put me on the scale and I weigh 13.8 pounds. Mom calls me her lunker. I do enjoy eating but I also get plenty of exercise. I don’t have any worms or other issues according to the tests. My vet just loved me and was so excited to see me and to get to be my vet.
The last thing we had to do was to get my microchip implanted. They said it might hurt but Mom said I would be alright. Well, they put some spray cheese on the table and I didn’t even notice they put my chip in! That cheese was good stuff. Mom got my preventatives, paid the bill and we headed home. I will go back in a few weeks for my final shots. They are so nice, I look forward to seeing everyone again! I’m thankful for good health care and a mom that makes sure everything is good with me.

We hope you like your vet visits forever, Henry. Vets and their staff are such wonderful peeps!
Nelson loves going to the vet and he is four. The girls don’t like it at all. Mom hopes I am more like my brother always happy and pretty chill.
I’m sure the vet was honored to meet you. Your such a good boy!
She was all over me squealing and petting me. Mom really likes her so we all go to her now.
Vets and their staff are really wonderful people. Hopefully all your visits there will be happy ones.
My sisters say it is a scary place but Nelson agrees with me that it is fun to go there.
Good job Henry ! We bet you cab look forward to some spray cheese with your final shots too !
Maybe. It sure was good stuff.
What a brave boy you are, Henry!

Rosy & Sunny
They talked it up so much Mom was worried I would scream but I just ate cheese and didn’t notice anything.
Henry, your sister Penny had her first visit to the vet yesterday, and it sounds identical to your experience in every way. Glad you had a good checkup!
How awesome for her too! Did she get to eat spray cheese? What state does she live in? I’ll never be able to keep track of all ten other siblings but I find it interesting to try.
Not certain how they distracted her, but they assured me she did not flinch. Penny’s home is Charleston, South Carolina.
We need to get to SC one of these days. Mom has only missed two states SC and ID, so I think we will get there.
Good for you Henry being so good at the Vets ~ You are adorable ~ sweet photos ~ Hugs ^_^

It was a great place to go and I’m excited to go back.
Henry I bet you left the vet with your dance card full with all the names of the ladies swooning over you.
Cheese is a cure for everything
Your muzzle is so very snow white and I bet it tickles mom’s face when she kisses you

That cheese stuff was amazing! It sure was fun and I’m excited to go back next month.
You have a wonderful family, a terrific Vet and now on to a wonderful life Henry! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Life is pretty good. Slowly the rest of the family is adapting to me.
We did the same with Levi. After we picked him up on the weekend we went to the Vet that Monday. I think Levi was maybe 9 lbs? I can’t remember!!!! I know I probably have it written down in his puppy folder. I should look for it. Henry is adorable!
Mom didn’t have time to take me right after we got home so she chose the early Tues appt the next week. Mondays are always super busy with work so she tries to avoid appts on that day of the week.
Henry, YOU rock!!
I’m a pretty good puppy most of the time. When I am tired Mom isn’t so pleased with me as I get wild and misbehave but I am still just a young fellow and I will improve.
There is no spray cheese at my vet’s house, but they are pretty generous with the cookies, and Mom always brings a little bag of chop meat in case we need it.
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah
Since I have baby teeth cookies are tough for me to eat so the cheese was a yummy option. I’m hoping I get more cheese next time.
Henry, I think you are going to make friends everywhere you go, including at the vet. Here’s to your continued good health!
I sure do hope I stay healthy.
We totally understand why your et fell in love with you. You’re just too doggone adorable, little Henry.
Thank you. Just being me 🙂
