It’s time for chase and wrestle times three. We are still getting acquainted with our new brother Henry. For us, some chase games in the yard are a great way to get to know each other better. Most of the time is is me and Nelson with Henry but sometimes just Henry and Nelson play. Bailie is not at all interested.
Mom is always out with us to make sure nothing gets too rough and no one gets hurt. This shot looks a bit nasty but Nelson didn’t land on the little fellow.
Henry gives it his all to try to outrun us but with his short legs, there is no chance he will.
We give him credit as he never gives up. A small guy thinking big I guess. One day he will probably be able to catch or beat us.
No matter who is first or who gets tackled, the three of us love to race around and wrestle now and then.
Most of our racing is later in the day for some reason. Now it is so humid and hot, we are not racing much.
We burn a lot of energy chasing and wrestling which means sometimes we all take a friendly break together. Henry gets more tired than Nelson and I since he is still just a puppy. We let him rest for a while and then we get back to the game!

We have had a lot of yard fun the past few days but now it is too humid and hot for much play.
Those are great action shots. All the exercise keeps Nelson and Olivia fit and helps you, Henry, grow up strong! Bailie will warm up to you eventually.
She just avoids me but she is never unkind. We are very different as she is 13 years and 8 days older than me so I have to respect her.

We have had some really fun romps in the yard together.
That so great that three off you are all playing. Bailey might like it better just to watch.
She doesn’t play anymore. I did walk with her this morning. She didn’t want me to bother her so Mom kept me away from her but the walk was good.

Mom says I’m adorable because I’m a puppy 🙂 Playing chase is a lot of fun but it is too hot out again.

We are lucky we have each other to play with. Other than the Furballz, only Henry plays with any of our toys.
Aw, I’m glad the three of you are having a good time together. Bailie reminds me of Callie and Shadow when Sam and I first fostered – and then adopted – Ducky. They were only 8 years older, but they were very bonded to each other and weren’t very interested in Ducky, either. But Ducky “wore them down” and they started accepting her once she stopped trying so hard. 😉

Henry is just killer cute! Looks like he’s fitting right in and his siblings are helping him adjust to his new home while they adjust to their baby brother. Nelson is thinking, it’s about time there was another boy in the house. Chase and wrestle is just the most fun and great exercise for a pup or a pup at heart. Great set of images.
We all get a good workout when we play together. Now we have another heat wave so not as much play going on.
Whew…I’m tuckered out just watching you guys race around! Super cute. No doubt Henry will catch up with you as he grows.
He already is pretty speedy for the short legs he has but he will get faster and faster.
