We love the Love’s Travel Stops! When we travel, Mom tries to stop at one whenever we need gas or bathrooms as they are super friendly, clean, pet friendly, and they often have food she likes to eat at a decent price too. We put together a little more information on why we love these travel stops so much.
Amazing Gas Prices
Almost all the time when we travel, Mom looks for the best prices on gas so we can fill up without spending as much money. Love’s almost always has the lowest prices. Finally we signed up for their app and now we get an additional ten cents off per gallon when we fill up. Mom doesn’t use such apps much as they constantly send texts, but Love’s doesn’t send many. The additional money off for free is well worth it! More money for dog treats, wink, wink.
Easy To Find
Love’s Travel Stops are all over the country. Sure some areas have more than others but we almost always find them on at least part of our travel routes. One can look them up in the app, or ask google for the nearest one to your current location. To get the discount once you have the app, all you have to do is enter your phone number at the pump, easy peasy!
Pet Friendly
A couple years ago, Love’s started adding Dog Parks to their travel stops. It does make them more appealing to many pet owners. We, however, never use the dog park feature. Why?
- Often times there are gaps in the fencing or around the gates where small to medium dogs could possibly slip out.
- People don’t always pick up after their dogs in there.
- We don’t want to be in a small park with dogs we don’t know.
- Depending on where the travel stop is located, there could be diseases.
- A lot of people love these parks but they are not for everyone.
Mom is happy to take us for short walks around the travel stop to do our business.
They also are starting to put in pet supplies in the store. It is nothing fancy but in an emergency, like your human forgot your treats, you could buy some here. They even have things for kitties if you are traveling with one or more.
Since we are always looking for and stopping at Love’s Travel Stops, we thought we should spread the word on our opinion of them. If you haven’t tried one, you really should, and get the app, it is well worth it! We are thankful Love’s is always growing. Happy Travels!

We have never heard of Love’s before. They sound wonderful!
They are all over on the major highways and we do love them.
Never heard of them. Don’t think they are on. The east coast. I’ll keep my eye out.
There are some on the east coast but not as many.
We saw them when we did a lot of traveling. It’s really nice they have included pet needs in their offerings!
Sometimes you just need something for a pet and it is easier than trying to find a pet store along your route.
We also love Love’s…and they are everywhere! We don’t use the dog parks either, but they usually have lots of grassy areas!

We go for a walk around the perimeter on the grass and that works for us. Love Loves, and the 10 cents off with their app is nice bonus too!
Forget the treats??? Yikes that would be like a super duper emergency!! Awesome
post. You guys always share such helpful information. And Mom and I agree- No dog parks for me. Have a great Friday your friend Chester
When we went to Louisiana Mom, for the first time ever, calculated our food wrong and we were short two days. We went to a pet store and got some kind of raw food they sold that Mom figured we would eat. She mixed it with our regular food and it was not a problem but we did have plenty of treats. If we needed something simple Loves would do.
We don’t stop at them much, but we con”Cur” with you three’s assessments. Two years ago we stopped at one on the way to Perry, Georgia, and watched the Eclipse. Just me and my mom and our driver. On the way back we had baby Lydia with us, and she wanted to see the eclipse too! What a silly baby! She doesn’t understand anything about the Universe!
Mom seeks them out as she loves them and their gas is almost always the cheapest around. Well, at least you all saw the eclipse. Mom isn’t into that astronomy stuff so we never pay much attention to it.
Love the pic of the sweet doggie trio and Loves sounds like a perfect spot for travelers with doggies ~ Hugs ^_^
It’s awesome for people and pups!
I will biggify the map to see if there is a Loves in NC…what a wonderful family friendly place.
and I loves the LOVES sign and your photos today

Thank you. They are big around the middle of the country and are fewer on the east and west but when we see them we go.
I used to be a truck driver and I stopped at Loves a lot. Sounds like they have made a few improvements in 20 years!
We have only been going to them for maybe six or eight years. They are super nice, have pretty much all that we need in a stop, and great gas prices.
That looks like a super nice place to stop and the name is wonderful too! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We love Love’s is our motto.
Looks like there are only 2 in my state and none close by. Darn!
Looks like you will have to be on a road trip. We don’t have any close to our house but we visit Love’s on our road trips.
I’ve stopped at Love’s when traveling, it’s really a great place. There aren’t any too close to here, and that’s sad to me.
They are mainly on interstates, so we don’t have any right here but when we travel they are the place we have an eye out for.
Nice. We have those stores here in Colorado. Gonna have to check out the inside-I’ve only pumped gas there.
We only see them on road trips so when we stop, we fill up the tank (with another 10 cents off from the app), Mom walks us a bit, then she goes in to use the facilities and if it is mealtime she might get something from the attached food place like subway. We love them!
