On the weekend it was my first trip to Home Depot. They are dog friendly and all my siblings have gone there on occasion. It was a bit scary but overall, I did enjoy seeing the huge place.
When Mom parked and got me out of the car for the above photo, I had no idea what we were going to do. It is very large and at first the carts me scared. I was worried about being run over since I am so small.
We wandered around the store and I got a lot of attention. People loved me and I felt like a celebrity. Mom had trouble finding what she came there to buy so we had to ask for help.
It turned out to be a big bonus for me as the guys in the millwork department have a big stash of dog treats. They loved me and I got two different treats that were soft enough for me to eat with my puppy teeth.
While I enjoyed seeing the store, I was getting tired from it all. It was time to take what we came for and head home.
Something called Halloween is coming up and they had a lot of very scary stuff in that section. Mom said I should pose by these cute decorations and not worry about all the other big scary stuff, so I did that.
Outside we found a bunch of things called pumpkins. I let Mom take one more photo but as you can see, I had reached my limit. It was fun going to this place with my mom. I’m sure I will go again some day.
My GBGV Life is happy, so we’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!

We know for sure that you made everyone’s day that came into contact with you, Henry, and you were brave to go into that huge store!
I did get scared sometimes but Mom was there and made sure I was alright and I learned a lot about things like big carts.
wow you are a brave little boy… we would love to come with you hehe
You two would go wild in a store like that. I liked it but I was always on guard in case something scary happened.
Henry and mom day. Wat a treat. Do i dare ask what mom is building.
Home Depot is a fun place for a short outing. You probably had a good nap when you got home!
I was pretty worn out. It is a lot to process.
What a fun trip, Henry. You were very brave!

Rosy & Sunny
It was fun but scary at times. I will go again and it will not be as scary.
Wow! Henry ~ what a brave doggie and fun to be with Mom ~ not so much the carts ~ but you did well and what sweet photos of you ~ Hugs ^_^
Thank you. I would like to go again.
How fun and at least you were with mom. She’ll take you to lots of fun places.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the pups and a hug to mom. ♥

I was pretty popular as I walked through the store.
SUCH A BRAAAVE BOY, Henry! And dog gone cute on top of it!!
It was a good adventure.
You did great on your first visit there and I can totally understand why you were so popular!!!
People were really crazy about me and I was just trying to keep from being run over by a cart.
Looks like a fun adventure, H. And you were very brave in the face of the deadly pumpkins. (I am not a fan.) I said what I said.
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah
The Halloween stuff was just a bit too much after touring the rest of the store so we skipped it.
So many smells !
Sights, smells, and sounds.
It looks like you had fun up until you got tired, which is understandable. Your tolerance for long outings will grow as you do.
The world and all the learning wears me out but Mom says it is a good thing.
You did so well, little Henry! No wonder everyone loved you-you’re just too cute.
It was a bit scary there at times but overall, I had a good time.
Henry, that was quite an adventure for a first visit! A huge store like Home Depot must look completely different from puppy height, especially with those large carts moving around, unfamiliar noises everywhere and so many new smells to investigate at the same time.
What I especially liked about this outing is that it shows how many completely ordinary places can become useful learning experiences for a young dog. There was a little uncertainty at the beginning, but you still explored the store, met new people and gradually discovered that not everything unfamiliar needs to be frightening. Finding a department with people who keep dog treats on hand was certainly a very good reward for being brave too!
It also made me smile that you became something of a celebrity while walking around. I can imagine people spotting such a small puppy in those enormous aisles and immediately wanting to say hello.
By the time you reached the Halloween decorations and pumpkins, though, it certainly looked as if you had processed enough new sights and sounds for one day. Puppies have an impressive amount of curiosity, but even adventures have to end eventually!
I suspect the next visit will already feel much more familiar. Experiences like this seem like such a nice, gradual way of building confidence while still keeping an outing fun.
It was a very good learning experience and I need to learn all about my world for myself and for doing my sports in the future.
