My first hotel visit was on the way to my new home when I was ten weeks old. It was a Candlewood Suites but I was too young and confused to notice much. Now I am used to my family, and I am myself at the hotel. We stayed at another Candlewood Suites which was really nice and fairly new. It also had a lot of new things for me to learn about.
My learning of hotel firsts got going right away as we had a room on the third floor and Mom took me onto this elevator. I have never been in such a box that moves like this. My bravery came out and I handled it really well. Having Olivia and Nelson along on the first ride helped a lot. Now I am used to this thing and it is not a big deal at all.
We took a family photo on the bed like we did on the night I met my family. Mom says I’m a lot taller and longer now and I also am posing well.
Paws down the bathroom is the most fun place in the room! At home, Mom has the doors closed so I never get to go in a bathroom. The walk in shower is nice, but thankfully, it was dry when I went inside.
After a thorough check by me, I could tell Mom the plumbing under the sink was all in order.
Have you ever seen this toilet paper stuff? Man, is this ever a lot of fun! I brought it out to Mom by the bed when I first found it. For some reason, she was not pleased with my work and she took it away from me. Later I went back in the bathroom and tried to get some more of the stuff but after snapping a photo of me as the culprit, she took it from me and moved the roll to a spot out of my reach. Major bummer!
I also tested out the luggage cart. Mom uses one to bring our stuff to the room and back to the car. It is an interesting thing but it wasn’t moving so it was rather boring. I can’t wait to see what our next hotel stay will be like. My guess is that it will be a lot of fun! Hopefully Mom won’t put all our stuff in the closet next time, I find that rather rude.
My GBGV Life is happy, so we’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!

I’ve never done the toilet roll thing, Henry, and for such a youngster like yourself – you are having the best fun!
Mom has the doors closed to almost all the rooms that have doors so I can’t get into trouble. Bathrooms are ones I haven’t seen much of, but stealing towels and toilet paper was a lot of fun until I was caught and the door was closed in our room too!
oh you can even do da elevator challenge… your are such a fabulous hound!
I’m always learning about new things. It makes my head tired sometimes.
None of us did the toilet paper thing, for which our mom is grateful!!
We all have been through it. Mom closed the bathroom doors when I arrived to prevent that but forgot about it at the hotel 😉
What a good job you did at the hotel, Henry!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
I didn’t do anything really bad. Just some curious, fun stuff that Mom let me know I should not do.
All these new experience d so much fun.
It was fun for a day but then I started being bored with the small space but it was bad weather so we didn’t do much outside except for the trial day.
Henry ~ you are having the grandest time ~ toilet paper and all ~ great photos of you and love the family photo ~ Hugs ^_^
Oh, I found a lot of fun stuff but Mom took most of it away from me.
You are doing so good Henry and you are getting to experience so many things already!
I sure do and it is pretty fun.
Awww, all three of you are most precious. I’m glad Henry is finding his way with traveling. I laughe out loud with the toilet paper. Hubby and I are wondering why our kitties are messing with the toilet paper.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to mom. ♥
Our cat bro Bert taught Nelson how to take toilet paper down the hallway. Mom was surprised.
Good job, H. You are learning a lot. The elevator in my building has a dog that looks just like me on the ceiling! Mom says his name is “A. Mirror.” So far, he hasn’t tried to kill me, so I am getting better with him and don’t stare at him as much.
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah
That could be scary. I as looking at a dog just like me in our room from the chair.
HENRY OMDs OMDs you a champ at traveling and adjusting and having fun. Love the bathroom photos and the family photo

Hugs Cecilia
PS good luck with the new floors…Mom is correct dust goes everywhere
Mom is dreading the process and having to be gone with us for two days but she knows it needs to be done.
You are learning so much, so fast. Toilet paper is off limits, unfortunately, but there are other things you can play with, I’m sure.
I also grabbed some towels.
You’re a total traveling rock star, Henry!
I’m learning about it.
