Sunday I had an ELT-P nose work trial at Crossroads & Huckleberry Railroad by Flint, Michigan. We have been there before and thought it was super fun. It is an old village with an old railroad. They are in the process of decorating for a big Halloween event. Unfortunately, it was raining and muddy so we didn’t get many photos of my sniffing work.
The good news is that I got to search at the depot including two train cars. I placed third out of the thirty dogs and was one of seven to find all five hides. Above is a video of my search. Mom and I really had fun in our search and I did well. Overall, I did a good job except for my first search but that is alright. Hope you enjoy watching me search.
I’m thankful I get to travel around and sniff in fun, unique places like this. Not many dogs have these opportunities!

Great job, Nelson, and what a fun place to find hides!
It is a really cute old village and the depot had so many trains this time. I enjoyed my searches.
what a fabulous place!!! we love to sniff in a train… thats a good train-ing ;O)
LOL, good one!
You did great If you won all the time the other puppies would be jealous
I could do better but Mom and I are working on it. Bringing home one ribbon or more is our goal.
That looks like a really fun place for sniffing.
It is really fun. We have been there for a few trials now and we like it.
Our Dad would LOVE that place! What a fun place to do some sniffing!
You did great, Nelson!
Congratulations!

We use it for our sports and it is so fun for us but it is usually open in more of a museum capacity for “regular” people. It is really a big area of older buildings that are also furnished.
Fun place for sniffing ~ Great job Nelson ~ love trains ~ sweet post and photos of you ~ Hugs ^_^
Mom loves to have me on trains and search. It is fun.
Looks like scary fun! Congrats on your two rankings! YOU look BOO-ti-ful sitting so straight and tall.
Thank you. Did you go to the FastCAT Invitational? We didn’t see any posts about it.
Nelson,
Huckleberry RR was fun and it made me want a warm biscuit slathered in huckleberry jam

If you visit there when it is open for normal business they might have something like that!
WOW, ya done good and that was very impressive! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. We had a lot of fun searching.
Congratulations, Nelson! Well done. Third place out of 30 seems pretty amazing. Those were somew cool train cars. Loved the one with the leather seats.
They were in really good condition. I have been on old street cars and busses searching but they were not in such nice condition. Lots of fun to search!
