We came across some early Halloween fun at the Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad site last weekend. Mom was out of her mind wanting to take a bizillion photos. Since it was a trial, we couldn’t just take photos. I took some waiting for my turn to search. In between searches, Mom took Olivia and Henry out for a few photos as well.
Even the road into the park is lined with Halloween items along both sides. Each sign is also double sided.
Olivia got to pose with the jackpot of pumpkins. We drove to a search and on the way back Mom stopped quick and snapped this shot of Olivia.
Mom took this photo when she was without a dog. Olivia searched in that mill the last time we had trials here.
I found this crazy bird on the way back from one of my searches. I think it is a bird from a video game, but I am not sure.
Henry got into the action as well posing with the Trick or Treat sign by the entrance to the park. Taking photos where we could kept Mom busy and got my siblings out of the car walking.
This guy was on the way back to the parking lot from one of my searches.
On the main road right before turning into the road to the park, this giant pumpkin ornament is patiently waiting for Halloween. One would need a really huge tree for an ornament this size! Even Olivia is grinning at the thought!
Last but not least, I have the only scary photo which really isn’t scary but could be for little people maybe. If you like Halloween and are in the Flint area we would say go have a look for yourself. This stuff is not even ten percent of what they are putting up. The hours are on the park website. Happy early Howloween!
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.

Wow – they are really into Halloween and it isn’t even October yet! The decorations are fabulous and we love your grin, Olivia!
The place was covered in decorations. There is a lot of set up for their event that starts I think on October 2nd. It made the place we already know a bit more fun and different.
How cool!!! That would be such a fun place to visit!

We love having our trials there and all the decorations were a fun bonus.
You were really brave getting up close to those scary things in the last picture – I’d run a mile!
At night in the dark it would be super scary all around this place but thankfully we were there during the day.
OMDs what a fun fun x 100 park. That is a giant pumpkin and what fun to have decorations all along the road

Decorations were everywhere and they were still putting up tons of them. It would be fun to go when it is finished.
Wow! What an awesome place you found ~ adorable photos of you sweet doggies ~ Hugs ^_^
It just happened to be where my trial was on Sunday. For Mom it added another element of fun in between searches.
Oh wow!! That is a LOT of Halloween right there. So fun!
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah
And there is so much more that isn’t even out yet. We’d love to see it when it is all done but that won’t happen since we live eleven hours away.
Love Olivia’s comment (grin) on that pumpkin ornament!
We think it is pretty funny!
HOW FUN!!! And colorful!
It sure made a difference in the look of the place this time!
Wow! What a cool place. I would love to go there and look around. What city is it in? Is it Flint Michigan.
Flint, Michigan just north of the city. It actually belongs to Genesee County Parks.
It looks like they go all out. I wonder if this is their favorite holiday.
We’ve heard Christmas is even better but we are not there that time of year.
Such fun photos! That place sure did it up right!
It’s going to be huge when it is all finished setting up.
