Mom and I, Nelson, entered our first Conformation Show in Des Moines on the weekend. We are taking some drop in classes a few times a month and we decided to give it a try for real. Mom has never shown a dog and I have never been shown, so it was all new territory for both of us!

The Painted Canyon Overlook at Theodore Roosevelt National Park was our first and main stop on day two of our Bozeman, Montana road trip. We arrived earlier in the morning so it was not crowded, and it was absolutely beautiful. Dogs are allowed on the walkways and the parking area. Of course, the sign makes for a fun photo opp!
