Our quick family road trip took us a few hours south to Fort Dodge, Iowa. The three of us were entered in barn hunt and FastCAT trials at the Webster County Fairgrounds. We got there Saturday evening and stayed overnight in a hotel so we were ready to be at the trial site by seven in the morning.
It’s a snoozy Monday at our house! Our weekend was funtastic, but we are all dog tired. Mom always has a lot of work on Mondays, so we have a chance to catch up on our sleep. The weather is cooperating too, being gray and damp. Thank you weather for making it even easier to sleep most of the day!

A spring evening in Minnesota. One day it’s hot, the next it is not. We are trying to stay warm!
Mom and I took the Minnetonka Trail System through the woods and around some swamps on Saturday. It was a gray day, not raining, but cool, and pretty windy. We had a real nice hour walk and thankfully, it wasn’t muddy. Gramma would not be happy if I came back to her house as a muddy dog.
