I’m so excited to tell you about what My GBGV Life (yep, that’s me) and my friends at Cascadian Nomads have planned for this important week I just had to howl loudly! If you think my furry family is a bit crazy with three dogs and two cats, you have to visit Casadian Nomads, you will love them! They have three dogs a cat and a bird. The bird is always out with them on their adventures which is so neat to see. Mom, Bailie, and I met their Cockatoo named Leo Xavier in the feather along with their dogs in the fur at BlogPaws in Las Vegas last May. [Read more…]
Thank you from Bailie to everyone for all the first birthday wishes yesterday. Stay tuned tomorrow for some more fun party photos!
Today starts my seven day celebration week of Bailie for her first birthday. I will let her have a bit more of the limelight here and there for her special week both at home and some days on my blog and social media accounts. I will try not to be mean to her, and try to help her catch her first wabbit if one comes into the yard. I thought I would kick off this fun week with a nice black and white photo and her name as we see it. The long awaited 2014 grand opening of my pool has happened. We have temps in the 80’s and my pool is a perfect way to cool off! Look at that crystal clear, cold water! How much more inviting could it get? As you will see, pool time started out perfect but then something fishy happened. [Read more…]
My sisters and I all live in the same family and have since we were puppies, but we each have our own personalities. Just as personalities can make a difference in a photo, so can the perspective of the photographer.
Bailie and I are in the middle of our nose work three class which is exteriors and vehicles. Nose work involves four search areas, interiors, containers, exteriors, and vehicles. Switching from interior to exterior searches is like entering a new world, and a much more difficult, yet exciting world. The first two weeks we did some real easy searches outside the place we did interior nose work. We needed to learn to search outside, and to ignore all the outdoor distractions. Last week we went to the Stone Overlook at the Big Rivers Regional Trail to have class. This added a ton of variables including planes overhead, cars, tons of bicyclists, walkers, and dogs we did not know. [Read more…]
Once again here in Minnesota, we went from winter weather right into summer. It is so green out right now, it is amazing. I thought I would share a few odds and ends of what I have been up to around the old homestead since we returned from Las Vegas.
