A perfect ten? That would be me as of today! Can you believe I’m turning ten? I feel more like four. They say age is all in how you feel, so I’m doing real good! Well now, who is that adorable little puppy? Debucher Baguette (aka Emma)? Oh yes, I was going to post about milestones today and today is a big milestone at our house. Exactly eight years ago today, Mom flew to London to meet me for the very first time and take me back home to Germany with her. Hard to believe that was me as I look totally different now! 7 years ago today I left my furry parents and siblings in England and went home with my new mom. It was a frightening day, but it did not take me long to realize I had a wonderful new home. Happy 7th Gotcha Day to me! (Yes, that was me 7 years ago today, my colors faded.)
Mom has always adopted shelter cats and they have always been great. Well, some cats have had some issues like chewing electrical cords, peeing in the house, and biting to name a few, but nothing that we could not get well enough under control to live with. Since they are not dogs, we can’t expect them to be perfect, you know. Who knows what the poor kitties went through before they came to live with Mom. Us dogs are always reminded of how lucky we are to never have lived in a shelter.
