Let the Poof challenge begin! I recently received an email asking if I would like to try and review a Poof. My Gramma has a Poof, but it made no sense for me to test that! Come to find out, Gramma has a Pouf (a fancy word for ottoman) and I am supposed to try out a Poof (activity tracker). Both sound the same, but they are totally different animals!
My GBGV Life received the Poof Pea and Bean Activity Trackers in this post to review. My GBGV Life receives no additional benefits for barking about Poof products or the company. The opinions in this review are the honest opinion of My GBGV Life. Poof is not responsible for the contents of this post.
The Poof Challenge!
Poof sent me their Pea and Bean activity trackers. The Pea is round, battery operated and comes in coral, blue, green, and black. The Bean is oval, rechargeable, and also comes in coral, blue, green, and black. Both activity trackers sync with the free app for Android and Iphones. Now, what shall I do with two activity trackers? Bailie came up with the pawsome Poof Challenge idea!
Since Madison and I are closely related, and similar in size, Bailie said we should each choose one and see who has more activity after one week. Bailie is bigger and taller, so rather than competing, she is our referee and is in charge of the competition.
The Pea and the Bean!
I chose the Pea in green for my activity tracker. The photo is of me with my green Poof on the Pouf. The Pea is about the size of a quarter, it’s lightweight, waterproof, and I think a fun color. The battery is a real champ, lasting up to six months!
Madison got the Bean for her activity tracker. The photo is Madison with her coral colored Bean on the Pouf. The Bean is an oval about an inch long and half an inch high, it’s lightweight, waterproof, and also a fun color. The Bean battery is rechargeable, lasting up to six weeks.
We competitors, Madison and myself, suited up with our super cool new Poof activity trackers in preparation for the Poof Challenge to begin. The Poof can be hung like a tag or attached right to the collar. We both chose to hang our Poofs with our tags. Are you wondering what the Poof will be tracking? They keep track of a lot of things!
- Activity monitoring β 24/7
- Calorie tracking β calories burned and consumed
- Sleep tracking β rest and sleep levels
- Customize the tracker for your own pet
- Works for dogs and cats
- Can be attached to any size collar
- Provides a score and rank for activity
Let the fun begin!
The referee set up a start line with cones for us to begin our challenge. Our Poof Challenge will be over a one week period of time. Next week, I will post the results of the challenge, tell you a bit more about how the Poof works, AND offer a giveaway of one Poof Pea and one Poof Bean, just like the ones we are using! Make sure and come back for all the excitement! Dogs and cats are both welcome to enter to win next week!
Madison and I waited and waited for the ref to give us the signal, “Go”! Finally it came, and off we went like a herd of turtles! Little Madison seems to think the ten year age difference makes her a paw in to win, but I have news for her! If the week is anything like the start, she is in for one big surprise! See you all at the finish line in a week!
Let the games begin! A great powder poof challenge between the girls. Can’t wait to hear the results in a week. Have a busy weekend. XOXO, Sparkle
It should be interesting!
Slow and steady wins the race, Emma!! We can’t wait to hear all about how your week goes!!
Bailie has the cell phone so there is no peeking until the week is over!
Game time! (Whistle blowing)
Lily & Edward
Game on, sassy pants, Madison!
I will wait at the finish line and I will root… for you both :O)
Please bring treats and water!
This is going to be interesting!!!!
Bailie really had a great idea. Who knows who really is more active even with a ten year age difference? I guess we will see.
Alloie: Nooooooo! No, no, no, no … Someone keep Mother from seeing this,or else she’ll be inspored to make me EXERCISE again *shudder*
(wow, what a great idea — and a way to know who gets what amount of exercise. It could even help with the concept of calorie and portion control. *looks at Miss Chunky Monkey*)
They are for cats and dogs. Mom wanted to hook cat bro Bert up to the Bean, but he is always naked…no collar…so no go. It does track activity, calories in and out, and rest. I think rest would be big with kitties.
Y’all found another fun keeper!
We did. Can’t wait to see who the winner is. You kitties could all get one and have a contest too!
I SMELL MISCHIEF AFOOT!
Bailie is in charge of making sure the competition is fair, so I think we are good.
Whoo-hoo, good luck to both of you girls! We have to admit, we are rooting for the older gal to show up that young-un, so you get her, Emma!
(We are hoping to get to try these too, I had the same idea of comparing Luke and Cricket to see who is really more active!).
It will be fun to see who comes out ahead and by how much. At the start line, Emma was clearly ahead…but will it last?
Can’t wait to see who wins!
It may be closer than we think!
These are super cute. Mom is pretty sure the pea and the bean would track me sleeping, snoozing, dozing, dreaming, and snoring the whole time she’s gone. But we hope to win one anyway! Good luck, girls!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
It does track sleep and everything. We don’t wear our collars at night, but it tracks our daytime naps and movements.
Bentley wears an activity monitor and it is very helpful to keep in moving. I’m sure Emma will show Madison what’s what! LOL!
We can’t wait to see if miss sassy pants learns a lesson or not!
And they’re off! Good luck to all the contestants.
It’s going to be interesting!
That sounds like tons of fun! I can’t wait to hear the numbers at the end of the week!
Madison and Emma are both working hard on staying active, so we will see who wins.
What a cool challenge. Go girls!
It’s going to be interesting!
Can’t wait to see how these work out for you! I’m curious about trackers like these, but I also know that the girls are in crates when I’m not home and when I am home, if I move, they move, so I have a general idea of their activity levels. It would be interesting to see what the tracker did during agility classes, though!
Madison had hers on for agility last week, but in between her runs, she was wrestling and making out with her golden retriever boyfriend, so there wasn’t a big difference in activity level. She is totally boy crazy! It does track sleep, but we have our collars off at night and when we are crated.
This is exciting I can’t wait until next week! Love Dolly
We’ll see if age really is better at activity or not!
Ooh, a competition. I love a good competition.
It’s hot and heavy between miss sassy pants and me!
3 bum swings! 3 more!
Wooftastic excitement.
Nose nudges,
CEO Olivia
She is a fun little one to photograph.
Those look like great activity trackers.
They are super nice and easy to use too.
