Saturday afternoon I got to go and see a new space with my mom. Since Olivia got to go to FastCAT in the morning I got to go check out where we hope Gramma will be soon. We took a walk around the area and I love the trails!
The weather was super hot in the sun, so walking in the woods is wonderful because it is shady. Mom is super excited that they have poop bags available and a trash can too! She always has a bag in her pocket, but sometimes we need another one.
Being a dog on a log is always fun and it is a good workout for my core. Since I enjoy standing on my back paws, keeping my core strong is really important.
Some parts of the trail are paved when the trail exits to a road or another place. The asphalt is also shaded so it doesn’t get hot.
Shade or no shade, I was a bit on the warm side. It is hard for me to hide that since my tongue is hanging out of my mouth, almost down to the ground! No worries, in the summer it always spends more time hanging out of my mouth than being in my mouth.
After about a forty minute walked, we went to see the new digs. I was a bit tired from the walk, so I jumped right up onto the bed. It is perfect in my opinion as I can see out the window and watch all the stuff going on outside, right from the comfort of the bed! I sure hope Gramma moves here so I can come and visit. A new space is always fun to check out and explore for people and pups.

She isn’t ready to go home, we just hope she will be able to handle this place in a day or two.

What a lovely place! We hope your gramma can get there soon. What fun trails! Lots of shade for hot weather, too! I’m sure if you snuggle with her a lot on her bed, she will feel right at home.
She loves to have us pups visit her and we always like to go for a walk to burn off some energy.

Mom feels bad she can’t pop over and visit a lot, but it is about 40 mins from where we live so once a week is about all we can manage.

It is a drive for us to get there, but it is where she has always lived, so we are used to it.
