Introducing myself, Nelson, the new Chief Blogging Officer, CBO, for My GBGV Life. Sometimes life causes a guy to grow up faster than planned and that is the case for me right now. My late sister Madison and I were very close. She was my teacher, friend, and boss (she loved to boss everyone around). Madison was the CBO since Emma passed away in 2018.
In her final days, our family had to decided if and how My GBGV Life would move forward, and Madison, being in charge had decisions to make. We all want the blog to go on, so who would be the new Chief Blogging Officer? Bailie had no interest in responsibility or a job. She is eleven and wants to spend her time enjoying life. Olivia is super sports focused. Having a job isn’t really something that interests her. I’m a real down to earth guy who takes things seriously. Jobs are something I am good at. I can separate fun from work at the drop of an antler.
Being chosen by Madison to take over this blog is a huge deal. I’m only two, but then Madison was also two when Emma left the blog to her. She knows I will do my best to keep things running. Over the years the blog has slowly changed and I expect it will continue to change under my watch. One thing will remain constant and that is Emma’s wish – My GBGV Life will always be a fun and happy place to go. Yes, there will be sad posts on occasion but we want to be a positive place for all our friends to go.
With Olivia and I being pretty sports minded, there will be plenty of sports postings but we will also find other interesting things to post about.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for all the condolences. Madison is so very missed by us all. Our house feels empty, but we know she is here with us in spirit. She was always so happy, and she would want us to all be happy and continue on in our lives having fun and being happy, so that is what we are doing.
My GBGV Life is joining Comedy Plus for the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Nelson
Madison was a wonderful sister and she taught by example…kindness, love and patience and of course lots of fun zoomies too. You are exactly what will carry on Madison’s legacy…well done for stepping up when it was hard..but
well done again dear Nelson, CBO. You have lots of loving females to advise when needed
Hugs
Cecilia
My sisters might help out sometimes but I think I will be the main guy.
Great choice. I think you will do a fabulous job
Thank you. I hope to do well and I will do my best.
Hello Nelson, it’s a big responsibility but Madison knew you would be up to the task, we all know it. You will make her and Emma proud, I know it!
I’m a big guy and the man around here, so I think I will be alright.
Nelson ~ you certainly will make a great CEO ~ wonderful photo of you and a lovely tribute to Madison who will be missed dearly ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

We all miss her so much. It isn’t the same without her sweet little self buzzing around.
Nelson, we are 100% behind you and am grateful that Madison chose you to keep the blog going. We look forward to your future posts!
Thank you. I hope to make her proud.
What a wise choice. You’ll make Madison proud. I know you will. You’ll make all of us proud. I’m glad your blog will continue.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and a huge hug to your wonderful mom. ♥
We thought it all over and decided we are not ready to quit yet. I will hopefully keep it going for a long time.
Congratulations on your promotion, Nelson. We know you will do an awesome job as Madison will be watching you from above♥
She will send me signs and ideas. We have already seen and heard signs from her a lot.
Nelson, I know you will carry on the sweetness and good news of the blog very well. I can tell just by looking at you. xo Katie

Thank you. I take my jobs seriously.
We think you will do a great job, Nelson, and understad why Madison would choose you to carry on the legacy Emma started!

I’m the first guy in the family and now the first to run the blog. It’s not easy being in a womens world but I deal with it.
I think you will make a fine CBO! You are a getter done type of guy.
I’m a serious and hard working fellow.
Oh, I’m so sorry to hear about Madison. She did a great job with the blog. And Nelson, you are a great little brother and certainly up to the task.
Thank you. It has been a sad few weeks now but we are all doing our best to try to stay happy because she loved being happy.
I’m glad you are continuing your blog. Each time I’ve lost one of my collies I step back, sometimes for very extended periods. It’s hard for me to find the desire to write about my life with my collies…when one of them is missing. I tried hard not to do that when I lost Kori in May. But it was very hard to continue. What helped was trying to focus on all the fun, new sports and titles we were earning. But there are still days when I have to force myself to write, because if I don’t, then I know I’ll walk away and it might be months before I write again. I’m looking forward to reading Nelson’s posts, as I, sure he will be giving a new spin to things!
Mom has problems with creativity when she is sad but she is working on that and trying to get it back for us. It is hard to believe we feel lonely with three hounds but when a car only has three wheels it doesn’t do well either. Madison was such a huge personality and cutie pie. We all miss her dearly.
Nelson, you will do a “pawsome” job as CBO! And I know you’ll make both Emma and Madison proud! Looking forward to your next post!
Thank you. I am the best man for the job, actually the only man, so I got the job, LOL!
Congratulations on the promotion, Nelson. You will do your mentor, Madison, proud.
She taught me so much since I was a puppy. I do sure miss her and we all miss her happy little bossy self around here.
Nelson, you will do a wonderful job; even though this transition is very sad and hard for your whole family. We look forward to reading your posts of all of your and your sisters’ adventures.
It is going to take time to process this loss. Such a cute little GBGV she was but her larger than life personality was everywhere.
I know that Madison taught you very well and you’re going to do a fantastic job with the blog.
She was my teacher and best buddy, so I need to do a great job.
Madison knows that your blog is in good paws with you… you name means champion so, you can do that job very well
Madison and I had a special bond and I really miss her but we are now learning to function without her while keeping her in our hearts.
Madison must be very proud of you carrying on in her (and Emma’s) memory, Nelson. We know you’ll do her proud. All best wishes, buddy.
The first guy in charge is something new but I will do a good job. My life is surrounded by females so I should do alright.
Those are some very special paws to fill, but we know you are up to it …
I’m a good guy and I will get the job done.
