I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. We had a pawsome Christmas at our place! I don’t care what the news says about UPS and FedEx, they are my good friends and they got all our stuff here on time with the last gift arriving Christmas Eve at 7:30pm. I feel sorry for those poor delivery guys in December, they work such long hours and then with the snow and bad roads, it only adds drive time. Maybe I will offer them a bully stick next time they bring me a package?
In November I entered a photo over at Pawsitively Pets for their Thanksgiving contest and I won! I couldn’t believe it! Their post said a large prize package so I had been patiently waiting for it to arrive and it did on the day before Christmas. It was a big box full of tons of pawsome stuff! There were a ton of tasty healthy treat and food items for us dogs, toys my sisters liked, 2 dog outfits, and even a bag of treats for my cats. This box was for the whole family!
The kitties love their treats. Bailie loves the two toys, but she was totally embarrassed when I had her put on the cute red snowflake outfit for a photo. She looked so adorable but she said she felt really silly. Oh well, what Emma says, Emma gets. I am the big sister.
Katie loves tug a war. She has played it since she was a pup and the spider like rope toy is ideal for playing some tug a war with Bailie. The two of them really get into it good with that toy! Thank you so much Pawsitively Pets, this prize package was to drool for!
I was also lucky enough to win a prize earlier this month from my friend Flea at Jones Natural Chews. I enter all the time and never win, so this was wonderful at Christmas time! I won the Chewer’s Gift Pack which was and I do say was…six tasty Woofermen, a pig’s ear, a bully candy cane, all in a Frisbee. I split this with my sisters, each getting two Woofermen, Katie got the pig’s ear and Bailie the candy cane. We are giving the Frisbee to cousin Lena since none of us play Frisbee and she loves to play that game.
And what about Emma? I know you are thinking I got a raw deal sharing most of my prize with Katie and Bailie, but there was also a package of my favorite treats in the whole wide world…wabbit jerky. This I saved just for myself. This stuff is to be savored for sure, and Mom lets me keep it just for me! Thank you so much Flea! I will try to catch you a wabbit at BlogPaws.
Mom doesn’t buy us much for Christmas since we have pretty much everything we need and then with the stuff I won, it was like getting Christmas presents but…she did get us a tunnel! Bailie loves the cat tunnel so much but she is now too big and still tries to squeeze in, so Mom ordered us an 18 foot long 2 foot diameter agility tunnel. We are having a blast with it, and I will post more about that on Friday.
That is it for fun, games, and mischief with our Christmas gifts. Now I have to think quick about New Years resolutions!
I’m joining in the Monday Mischief blog hop brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies.
You are all winners in my book !
Awww…thank you 🙂
So many goodies! I’m not surprised Bailie loves it, I’m sure I would too.
Having me for a sister is working out well for Katie and Bailie 😉
What a fun bunch of stuff. I love your tunnel, that looks super fun.
The tunnel is a blast, Mom keeps folding it up because we get so wild.
Wow, what a haul you guys got! We got a couple of new toys – treat toys mom calls them, but not as many treats as I would have liked. Can’t wait to read about your tunnel – it looks like lots of fun!
We got so much stuff, it is really fun especially for Bailie!
Oh so much presents , you are so lucky 😛
Thanks, it was a great Christmas!
That is a cool lot of swag you got there and we love the tunnel. Pawsome.
Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Come on over for snacks and tunnel chasing 😉
That was a super nice win and some really cool stuff!
Winning was awesome, I’m really lucky!
Emma, that is all so awesome….what a great Christmas at your house! We’re so glad you finally got your wabbit jerky, and didn’t have to share it. You have us thinking we might need one of those tunnels, so can’t wait to read more about it.
The tunnel is a blast but it is huge, so when it is out, it covers the living room. We can use it outside too.
Ooooo! Catch me a wabbit to keep the chicks company! That will rock!!
I will see what I can do, not sure how many wabbits live in Vegas!
Wow! What lucky dogs!! Tell Bailie that I think she looks precious in her pj’s. I enjoy reading your blog so much each day. I agree about the UPS/FedEx workers. If people ordered on time, they would get their packages delivered on time. These poor workers are on delivery overload and I certainly don’t envy their jobs!
Thank you, Bailie was adorable in the pj’s but she didn’t think so.
those sure were some terrific presents and you deserve each and every one! Enjoy!
We certainly are fortunate and are enjoying everything.
You all are so lucky! Toys, treats, and Jones Natural Chews!!! I love that cute snowlflake outfit too. 🙂
That wabbit jerky is the absolute best, but I love the other snacks and the tunnel too!
Bailie had her wild eyes when she had her jammies on ! You all had a pawsome Christmas! The mom came and got me this morning – finally. Whew! I did not eat a thing since Friday and lost over a pound. The mom has been giving me many little meals of turkey, and I am eating those, Finally food – yummy! XOXO Maggie the PBGV
I probably wouldn’t have eaten at that lousy motel either. Glad you are home to spend New Year’s with your mom. Hopefully she won’t have to leave you again. Happy New Year!
You are some lucky guys 🙂
I have to say that we are quite lucky in so many ways and Mom reminds us to be thankful too!
Glad you guys liked your stuff and thanks for sharing photos – I enjoyed seeing you with all the stuff! Looks like you guys had plenty of goodies for Christmas!
Now that there are three of us, treats are just not lasting as long, so it is good to have plenty. Can you imagine the horror if our treat drawer was empty? There was really stuff that each of us just loved, so it was perfect. Thank you so much and Happy New Year!
What a very cool prize pack. And so nice that it arrived just in time for Christmas! 🙂
Mom said to consider those things Christmas gifts, and we didn’t mind at all!
Other than the costume, (what is it about humans dressing us up in costumes… so humiliating) all your stuff is really cool! I’ve never experienced a tunnel before, maybe I’ll ask for that for next Christmas. Cooper
We don’t mind wearing a hat and sometimes a shirt or something for a photo, but Bailie felt silly in the pj’s even though they were super cute. We aren’t a breed that normally wears clothes but it was fun to put it on her anyway. The tunnel is awesome and there are so many things to do with it!
That was a HUGE pressie box! Congrats on your win. We would love to learn more about your tunnel. Maybe we can get our mom to get us one too.
Millie & Walter
I will be posting about what we do with it on Friday. It is a super fun toy!
Congratulations it looks like you won some pretty great prizes something for everyone:)
I know, and even something for my kitties. We are truly lucky pets!
Congrats on your winnings! I LOVE Jones Chews! I also love tunnels – I know you’ll have lots of fun with that.
Garth
Mom says we might be having too much fun in the tunnel, so she keeps packing it up, but we do love it and we love Jones Chews…what dog wouldn’t?
Wow! What a lot of fun you are having! I want an agility tunnel! Oh Emma, are you going to be doing agility?
-Livvie from MatildasJourney.com
No, we aren’t going to do agility. Mom considered it with Bailie, but we have decided on trying nosework since it is really something for a hound nose. Agility would be fun but using our noses makes more sense. We can do our own “fun” agility at home with our tunnel.
Wow, what a lot of fun treats. But please, if you do give the UPS driver a bully stick the next time he comes by, please have the mom take a picture. I really want to see the look on his face.
Happy New Year!
I will, but it will be tough because that guy is always running. He drops the box, rings the bell and runs back to his truck. Maybe he is scared of us, but Mom says he has a schedule to keep.
That picture of Bailie in the outfit is precious…lol. Many moons ago now, my hubby was a UPS driver. He would spend long, long days out on the road leading up to Christmas. We never made plans for Christmas Eve because I had no idea what time he would finish up. When he was a driver, the company was privately held and if they didn’t finish up Christmas Eve, he would be out Christmas morning. As I said that was 20 + years ago and things have changed.
We have a neighbor that is a UPS guy, he just enjoys driving, meeting people and the workout he gets but on Christmas Eve he is never home before 9pm. Still a tough job!
Oh, you lucky girls! All your treats look fantastic. Happy New Year!
They are really yummy! Happy 2014!
All those treats AND a tunnel – You guys are living the dream! I went into a tunnel a few times when I went to class, it was fun, I rolled around when I got in (I think I was supposed to be running through – Tee Hee) – Mum was very busy laughing and trying to get me out, I didn’t care as I was having so much fun! 🙂
Happy New Year to all,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
If you think a tunnel is just for running through, check back tomorrow and catch my video…you can do more in a tunnel! Happy 2014!
