Poor little Bailie is a bit bored. We have so much snow, and now it is really cold again too. This puppy simply doesn’t know what to do.
I amΒ joining the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop sponsored by Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever. Sometimes photos are simply more fun in black and white!
By the look in her eyes she is planning something, I would watch out!
Most likely a chase around the house with cat bro Bert. Those two are always going at it!
That is a beautiful photo sweet Bailie!
She can be sweet when she isn’t a pesty little sister π
WOW! your state shutdown again … lots of SNOW n very COLD. We are very happy that we missed that snowstorm. It’s going to be a cold week here. You guys stay warm and for sure you’ll find something FUN to do indoors. Happy Black n White Sunday. Golden Woofs
It is crazy out there. Mom has never seen such bad roads. High speed yesterday on the highway was 45 and that is two days after the storm. It is all ice pack and very dangerous. It won’t melt either because the temps are below zero again. It is starting to get rough around here! We will practice our nose work and some obedience stuff indoors.
Poor Bailie…I thihnk you will just have to uncover some mischief to get into.
Don’t worry, she doesn’t stay down for long and being an optimist, she keeps trying to go outside, using different doors just in case the weather might be different.
We so feel your pain Bailey. It’s been a brutal winter. Jasper and Cupcake have gotten stuck a few times too. Let us pray for meltage shall we? π
As much as we love winter, we have reached the point of too much which causes trouble. She is getting good at holding is since she can’t find a place to go!
Awwww poor Bailie. Maybe you need to tug on Emma’s ears.
I think we will work on nose work and other training stuff indoors for fun.
I hope Miss Spring will visit you soon. Butt you can visit me, we could watch tv together while destuffing some plush-guys :o)
Oh Bailie would love that. She likes to destuff and she also enjoys TV.
Bailie, the mom says suck it up….you live in Minnesota NOT here in FLORIDA with me! Stay outta trouble…I am always into trouble! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Bailie finds plenty of trouble, no worries there. She just doesn’t like the snow to touch her behind when she goes to the bathroom but every time she crouches to go she sinks and her behind hits the snow. She won’t go on the side of the road like Katie and I, so it is a bit of a predicament. I’m sure you are keeping your mom busy! Bailie was an angel for about two days and then she felt comfortable and the puppy terror began π
The mom’s arms look like a battleground from my razor teeth. I barely touch her oid skin and it gets those red marks or bleeds. We all have the same problem as Bailie if our grass gets too tall. It tickles us girls! Sparkle the PBGV
Bailie has never been a biter or nipper except for on my ears, so we are happy about that.
I’m betting you will find something to entertain her! Today is our last nice day too….the cold will be back for us tomorrow….unless you wanted to keep it there? just kidding….I’m sure there’s enough to go around for all of us, whether we want it or not.
We are already below zero…double digits below in a couple days. No end in sight. Bailie will adjust but the adjustment days are painful for Mom who is out with her pacing up and down the street looking for the ideal snowbank! At this point we can just keep the cold, it really doesn’t matter anymore!
I hear you, Bailie. Summer’s coming. Really!
Don’t you have a big bone to chew on? That is what I do when I get bored.
I have some antlers lying around but I’m bored with them too.
The look on Bailie’s face with those soulful eyes looking at you reminds me so very much of my Ollie that I lost last June. Amazing. Eerie, almost. Sooooo sweet.
Oh, didn’t mean to make anyone sad. Maybe it is good to think back on a lost soul? So sorry for your loss.
Awww, poor Bailie! We wish that you & Emma could join us at the Barkus & Meoux Mardi Gras parade today! it would be so much fun and it is WARM down here in the bayou! XXOO
That would be fun. Mom says they throw candy at those parades…do they throw treats at the dog parade?
No big plans for you today on this sun shinning Sunday?
It is beautiful but there is a -17 windchill, and walkways aren’t shoveled so we can only walk on the roads, so not much going on here. Practicing some nose work, catching up on napping, chasing the cats, that kind of stuff.
Oh Bailie, you sure do look sad
She just doesn’t know how to tackle the snow since we have so much now.
Poor Bailie! I hope the snow stops snowing soon so she can start having fun again!
We need it to smush down a bit and the temps to warm up a touch. Now it is like Antarctica again.
We know how you feel, we had a pretty nice day yesterday and woke up to snow again this morning… spring will be here soon!
We love the winter, but now there is simply too much snow and we have no where to go plus it is below zero again.
This is such a gorgeous picture! I really need to find more time to take pictures of our dogs π
Thank you! Mom takes so many of us. Many don’t turn out since she is always trying to improve her photo skills, but she is getting better. That is one of the best benefits of blogging is we have photos coming out our ears, so the memories are saved.
Hi Y’all!
Good news! I had a comment on my post yesterday that they had their first daffodil in bloom! Stay tuned and I’ll be showing you the signs of spring here!
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
I think it will be months until we see the ground again and then even longer until it thaws. They say below zero for at least another week around here. I have seen some flower posts too, but that is far off in Minnesota.
oh Bailie! you look like you need Sunday snuggles to me!
Hugs, Carrie, (Myfie, Ellie and Millie) x
She did demand lots of huggles from Mom today. Huggles are their thing where Bailie sits on her lap, paws around her neck and just hugs for a while. It is pretty cute.
I’m with you…..I am bored too. Barks and licks and love, Dakota
As much as I love winter, it has gone a bit above and beyond at this point!
We are sorry Bailie. That is how Mica looks on rainy days and when there is beautiful snow but it is too cold to stay out and play. We have actually had a few days that were even too cold for her π
What? Too cold for a Newfie? Can’t imagine that as my sisters and I always go out even if it is just a short play time π
We are out everyday for a short time around noon usually 15-20 min but then they have nothing to do. Sometimes Dad will take for a short walk in evening. Mica doesn’t consider it a success unless she can spend hours out checking the woods, neighbors, and watching for people that do not belong with some runs and barks in the mix.
Our yard is so deep that the fence isn’t tall enough anymore so we can’t be out there alone either.
Great photo!
Thank you!
You could come play with me, we could play chase the Gaylord Bawahwhahhwhaa xxoxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Bailie gets in lots of trouble for chasing cat bro Bert, so I bet she would love to chase Gaylord with you!
She looks so sad. π We are going back into the deep freeze ourselves this week…bah!
We are in it. Brrr…
I know you guys have had it way worse than us! Hang in there Bailey! There are now some patches of grass along the sidewalk and I can climb the drifts in the park so I know it will get better for you guys too. Love Dolly
It won’t be better for a few weeks at least as we are staying in the deep freeze for at least another week.
Awwwwe shucks! This weather is really strange:( Hate to say it but it has been really nice here the last week, but guess we are suppose to have more cold weather this week.
By Thursday we will have a high of zero…at least another week of below zero mornings.
