It’s Flower Friday, and Mother’s Day weekend! I thought I would post some pretty flowers for all you moms out there, or anyone who just likes to see flowers and cute dogs! These pretty flowers will be spending the summer on our porch and deck!
We have a lot of flowering bushes in our yard. It’s a bummer they don’t have flowers all summer, but right now they are looking real pretty. These are some buds about to transform into pretty flowers.
With a little rain and some warm weather, the buds started to open, creating some real pretty flowers!
We have a couple bushes with nice white flowers by the stairs to our deck.
Pink seems to be the main flower color in our yard. I guess that is where pretty in pink comes from.
If a girl is out on a walk and comes across a tree with low hanging bushes, the flowers also make for a nice fur piece on ones head! Next to bloom will be the lilacs. Maybe I’ll post about them next week. Happy Mother’s Day weekend! Be sure and give your moms lots of extra loving!

Those are beautiful flowers, and you just enhance their beauty, Emma! We don’t have too many flowers yet, other than daffodils, but our azalea bush is budded now too. I might miss it when I’m gone though, I can’t remember how long the blooms last! I think our lilacs will hold off until I get back though – those have always been my favorite.
The lilacs are just coming out here. Mom has started her sniffing routine on our walks…makes us crazy!

I’ve been enjoying the flowering trees around me, and I had the same thought as you, that it would nice if they bloomed longer.
Actually, she will be gone most of the day with my sisters at the nose work trial, but I know we will have some good cuddle time when she gets home. I didn’t get a spot in the trial and Madison has to go because she can’t be home all day.
