Thereโs always a good smell to find.
And Bailie is great at finding everything!
Keeps her mind young and busy. Maybe she could be a rescue dog.
Both my sisters might be good rescue dogs, but it is a huge commitment my mom doesn’t have time for.
It always amazes me that they can even smell stuff through the snow!
Both of the boys enjoy tracking our every step. Bentley’s nose works overtime when we have a house showing! LOL!
There are no secrets with out noses!
I am a credited Stinkologist who is very interested in all things puptaining to the nose & all that is discovered using it ๐
Bailie I commend you in your tracking abilities!
Pawsome pic!

Bailie and Madison are really good at that tracking thing and they love it. It makes my mom nuts sometimes.
Great job using your natural senses Bailie!
It is her best talent we think.
That’s some special trick! I think it would be pretty difficult to pick up the scent in the snow. Plus it’s sooooo cold.
Misha is also good at tracking as long as it’s food that’s involved
Mom has learned a lot about how scent travels in different conditions. Actually, in cold it is more difficult as it drops and does not spread. In winter tracking we stick our noses into the snow to find the scent, but in warm weather, we often keep our noses up higher or even air scent to pick up the scent. Humans find it fascinating, we find it day to day business as usual.
Oh, my Basset minion, Bessie, and you would get along really well. She enjoys “tracking,” too. She loves to follow interesting smells wherever they may lead her!
It’s a breed thing partly I think. Low to the ground, long ears.
Me and Brinley are ALWAYS tracking on our walks (it kinda makes momma giggle cuz she had bassets growin up and she says dey wuz REAL trackers).
You are terriers, not hounds, but all dogs love to sniff around.
She sure loves it!
A tracking addict!
Hailey is the same! It cracks me up when she tracks herself! Happy tracking!
We track each other, but not usually ourselves!
And you’re darn pretty doing it too sweet Bailie!
She is very good at tracking!

I’ve never been real big on tracking, but my sisters are into it all the time!
