Love and patience is something to be thankful for if you are a puppy. Sometimes, I know it is hard to believe, but I get on the nerves of my sisters. All I want is to be with them, and sometimes to be really close to them. Most of the time they are nice enough to let me be a puppy pest. Madison is especially kind to me and puts up with almost anything I do, including crowding her in her window bed. She calls me her Velcro puppy.
Bailie is a bit more distant, but she does put up with some of my antics. I love to give out kisses. Even though she isn’t keen on receiving them, she lets me give her a few sometimes.
Madison, on the other paw, actually gives me some kisses sometimes. She has also started to lick my ears now and then.
Since Bailie is bigger, she uses a lot of her dog bed, so there isn’t room for me, even if she would let me get in there with her. I’m content to snuggle up to the side of her bed. We often take our afternoon nap together like this while Mom is working at her desk.
Bailie also loves toys almost as much as I do. When she is in the mood, we get to play tug together. It is a lot of fun, even though she never lets me win. One day I will be strong enough to beat her.
Then there is the coveted wicker kennel. It is always the favorite sleeping spot of everyone. Since Madison and I are pretty tight, I sometimes climb right in there with her. She isn’t too thrilled about it, but she lets me do it anyway. I’m super lucky to have some great sisters with lots of love and patience for their puppy sister!

So nice when sisters can get along.
Believe me, we know!
Such wonderful pictures of the girls interacting!
Each of my sisters has their own way of hanging out with me.
Of course your sisters are going to love you – you are the sweet little sister!
Well, Bailie finds me to be pesty, but she is still pretty nice about my antics. Madison lets me do anything. Looking forward to all three of us being together again.
You are very lucky to have all that love
My mom loves me too. I love to jump in her face as well, and last week she had a black and blue lip from one of my jumping in her face moves. I’m just trying to share my love.
This could have been written about Puffin and me!!! I do have lots of love and tons of patience for my little sister!! XOXO, Sparkle
Madison has endless patience, Bailie will disappear if I get on her nerves, but I still think they are both awesome.
Very sweet! I could always learn to practice a little more patience in m everyday life, and these pups are definitely good role models for it π
My mom is not real good with patience, but she is learning.
It’s not easy being the youngest but you are and will always be loved! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I always wish I was a big girl, but everyone says to enjoy being a puppy.
I am so glad that your sisters are so good to you, Olivia!
I push Bailie to her limits, but Madison seems to not have limits. I try to push her, but she never caves.
It’s not easy being the youngest, Olivia! You are certainly lucky to have such patient sisters who also like to play and snuggle with you, even if it’s not 100% of the time!
yes you are little gal, to have such great older loving sisters. i guess Emma taught them very well because she was so good with them. they learned a lot from Emma. She was an excellent mentor.
Bailie learned a lot from Katie about patience, she was an awesome dog from what I hear.
Who could not love you, Olivia. You are so adorable!
I can be a bit much at times, but I only mean well.
Aw, what a wonderful thankful post. You did a great job too.
Have a woof woof Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your peeps. β₯
Thank you. I think I’m a lucky pup, but I don’t know any other life.
Sweetie, your sibs were puppies once too, so of course they cut you some slack – have a wonderful day little one!
Very true, but they seem to have forgotten how it was to be a puppy.
Oh my goodness! We say the same thing at our house! My little brother LOOOOVES me and I like him fine. Some days we play. But some days I want him to leave me alone!! (between you and me I think he listens to me more than mom!). This is a great post! have a good day. your friend Lilly
We all listen to each other a lot more than to our mom, but we don’t let her know that. She tries, but she just isn’t a canine.
Lovely post!
Thank you.
It sounds like human baby siblings. The elders love you. BUT little brothers or sisters can be real pets sometimes. Enjoy puppyhood. When you get to be older, Madison and Ballie may not be so patient with you.
I’m sure I will settle down as I get older and not be such a pesty one.
It can be difficult for us to spend 24/7/365 together but we seldom fuss with each other. A puppy would try all of our patience! BOL!
Luckily, we all have some time alone, so that helps out, but I do try some patience around here, even with my mom. Overall, I’m a good girl.
OMD I am DYING over the kissing photo! I love them all, but that one is my fave!
Thank you. We all love kisses, and start young.
You have a wonderful family!
Thank you. We think it is pretty nice, but we haven’t really lived with another family.
Thinking on love and patience … humans could learn a lot from the two of you.
Mom gets upset with humans because it is all about me these days with no respect for others. Not a very nice way to be.
Awesome sister photos.
Thank you.
