Look who is turning nine months old! Why it is me, Olivia! Actually, the nine months was yesterday, Christmas Day, but I was too busy with festivities to worry about my age. We went to another place with water and woods for some fun photos like when I turned eight months old last month.
As she does every month, Mom took me for a little walk to do a photo shoot. It will be fun to look back at one year, to see how I changed. Since Mom is always with me, she doesn’t really notice the changes until she looks at photos from a while ago.
Right now I’m up to my ears in being a sassy teenager. I’m really busy pushing buttons and seeing what I can actually get away with. Mom says as long as I’m not doing anything harmful, we will all survive this time period.
One thing we are working on is my down. The past couple weeks I’ve refused to follow the down command unless I’m at home. Mom and I have had several arguments over this, and she insists she will win one of these days.
So this is me turning nine months old. With Christmas over with, I’m starting to get excited about my birthday, but it is still three months out. One year old seems to be a big age for pups because lots of things we can’t do now, we are allowed to do then. For now I’ll just enjoy being a happy puppy.
We are joining the Brianβs Home Blog Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Happy Birthday To you!ππΆπ
Thank you. I can’t even imagine how fun turning one will be in a few months.
Happy 9 Months sweet Olivia, we bet your sisters will be having some fun party for you before too long. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I’m sure we will have a big birthday party when it is the time. I’m thankful to have a wonderful family.
Happy 9 months sweet Olivia! You enjoy your puppyhood for as long as you can, because eventually your Mom is going to win that ‘down’ argument – LOL!
I’m pretty stubborn myself right now, but I just want to test things and see what is really important.
Happy 9 months! I know exactly what you mean about being a teenager. my little sister pushes those same buttons – especially with me! I believe my ears have grown an inch longer because she thinks they are pull toys! XOXO, Sparkle
Mom is always afraid our ears will tear or something, but so far, I just squeal sometimes when she pulls too hard.
Enjoy your puppyhood first as long as you can, Olivia, because it goes by all too fast. Your Mom will eventually win the argument over “down”, but you won’t mind because you’ll be doing it on your own willingly. β€οΈ Well, most of the time. I’ll tell you a secret: Ducky doesn’t like it either, at times. And as long as she’s calm and quiet, I don’t care if she sits or lays down. At nearly 8 years old, I let her choose her position as long as she’s calm. I did the same with her older sisters, and Radar.
Mom wishes I would stay a puppy for a couple years, but I know I am growing up and will be a hound soon. The main thing is that my family is understanding and I will be loved no matter what my age π Ducky has it made if she doesn’t have to do down, but I think I will eventually have to do it when asked no matter where I am.

Thank you π
Exactly right, Olivia. Enjoy being a puppy and happy 9 months!
I do enjoy myself, Mom says maybe too much at times, but I’m just having fun.
i hope that you had a wonderful 9 mo old bday and got extra presents for Christmas. you have grown into such a big girl, learning so well, especially the blogger aspect and you are a perfect model, which you learned at a very early age. you are truly an asset to this family and i am sure that Emma would have certainly approved and loved you as a little sister. i hope that you have many healthy happies and live a very long healthy happy life.
Thank you. I don’t know what that Emma would think of me. From what I hear, she was the queen and wasn’t keen on sharing her spotlight, but I don’t know. I do my best to have tons of fun and be a sweet puppy. I’m a lucky girl.
Oh such a sweet, adorable doggie and lovely photo ~ ^_^

Thank you. I am pretty sweet.
Happy 3/4 of a year!! Love you bunches!
Funny how fast time goes by, except when I’m getting groomed or something like that!
Happy Birthday! If you accomplish as much in the rest of your life as you have in your first 9 months, you will make history!!!
I’m excited to get back to competing this weekend. It seems funny not going to trials all the time, but having a break has been fun too.
Happy 9 month birthday!! We can’t believe time is going by so very fast!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Time really goes fast. We feel like she has been with us forever.
Happy 9 month birthday!
Thank you.
And i am enjoying watching you grow, you are beautiful!
Thank you. I’m just one happy puppy!
You sure are growing up fast, Olivia! Your Mom probably has mixed feelings about that…she does not want you to grow up so fast, but she’ll be happy when you are less of a stubborn puppy! LOL
Mom would like me to have stayed at 6 months as I was perfect then. Now, I’m still perfect, but I’m also a bit challenging with my testing things all the time. We will all work through it.
Happy 9 month Birthday Olivia, Skylar is 2 months behind you and already has sassy teen in her to. You look very pretty sitting for your picture.
Thank you. I’ve really gotten into pushing boundaries lately, but I will get over it I’m sure.
I love your snow, our temps. Have been in 50’s F and 60’s. Sunday we are getting 2 inches of rain:(
We just had an ice storm and rain, no fun at all.
9 months already, the time goes fast.
It sure does!
