Olivia’s exercise restrictions have been lifted.Β Saturday night Mom said she felt the incision was looking so good that Olivia could start to play once again. She will have to wait until Wednesday to go running with us, but play is a huge step! It’s crazy amazing how fast a spay surgery can heal.
The first thing Olivia did was to grab some of the yard toys, the frisbee thing being her toy of choice.
She took off running around the yard all by herself with the frisbee toy. Can you see how happy she is to finally get back to romping around?
The evening light was pretty to look at, but with her running in and out of the sunny areas, it was hard to get good photos with correct lighting.
Olivia is super happy to be back playing and she can even do some wrestling with me now. We both really missed our playtime together the eleven days she had her exercise restrictions!

oh that are super great news… and we are happy that you can run and play again … and we hope wednesday is the day where you can play with your sisters !!
Mom is letting me play again, but not super wild. One more day of that and then look out!
I know she must be thrilled. Hard to keep a good dog home!
Madison and I have both been sad because we don’t understand why Mom won’t let us play.
SO glad she is back in action
It’s hard to keep a wild girl down.
Awww, what wonderful news. Yes they do heal up quickly when they are so young. Such great news.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to the pups. β₯
I’m so happy to be back running around.
Enjoy your playtime brave girl, It is so good to see you running about – thank goodness all is well.
I’m so much happier.
So good to see Olivia run again!
We are all happy I’m racing around again.
You look so happy to be racing around with your frisbee toy, Olivia!
I love to grab toys and race around with them.
I’m glad she’s able to enjoy some playtime again.
Believe me, I’ve stored up a lot of energy over the past two weeks.
Olivia is a HAPPY girl! YAY! My mom left me this morning as she had to go somewhere and have a colonoscopy. Yesterday was not a fun day for her! I love that my mommy is home with me now. I just love my mommy. XOXO, Sparkle
Glad she is back home with you, and I bet she is happier now too.
Wonderful. Glad you’re enjoying yourself
I’m glad too.
Yeah! Go wild girl!
Believe me, I will!
How happy is that! Heal quickly Olivia.
Mom says my incision is almost invisible already, so I’m ready to roll!
Wahoo! It’s s once to seeing you play again Olivia, and we bet you’ll be out running with your sisters again in no time!!
Madison and I have already started. Both of us are so happy!
Glad you’re back to playing!
We are all happy about it around here.
Playtime for dogs is pure joy. Enjoy getting back to normal!
It was hard on us not being allowed to play, and Mom felt so bad keeping us apart, but we are now back at it!
I’m glad to see Olivia is getting back to normal doggie life again. It’s tough when you have restrictions hanging over you especially when you begin to feel good but I’m sure like humans who recover from surgeries pups probably suffer overdoing things more than they should after they get the o.k. Sending prayers of continued healing and energy to Olivia. π
Mom lets her do a lot now, but with the heat, she is also still resting a lot. Tomorrow is two weeks so she can do it all then.
You can almost hear her saying, who cares about lighting for photos, Iβm free!!!
Yes, she is so very happy to gallop around again, and we are happy she can play with us too!
Yay – some freedom at last!!
Yep, I’m back to 100% activity and loving it!
