First things first, after all.
A girl needs her priorities.
omg really? wow we would love to be in your class too…
Yes, we have to learn to work through distractions like squirrels which is super hard.
In our backyard bunnies are pretty common visitors and when Lucy spots one, the race is on. She thinks a new playmate has come to visit.
Bunnies come into our yard too, but we are serial killers when it comes to those creatures. They should stay out of our yard. Now we have squirrels too, so we are very busy hunting when we are out.
I’ll bet at least one of you was having a fun time!
Squirrels always enjoy teasing dogs, they are very naughty.
That’s nuts! XOXO, Sparkle
It’s nuts I had to work before I could go after the guy, but I did it.
All bets are off when an evil squirrel shows up. Our Angel Little Bit loved to hunt for squirrels.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. β₯
We all love to hunt them too, but Mom said I had to do my work first and I did so I got the reward of going after that mean squirrel.
oooopsie…just a wee bit distracted! Take care!
Go get that evil squirrel, Madison!
I tried my best, but sadly, no luck.
Squirrels are such teasers!
They are mean and don’t play fair!
Wow! What an unexpected surprise! We known you gave that tree rat a good run.
I tried hard, but since I had to do my nose work first, he got a head start.
My Charlie (black & brown Lab) has many visitors. From squirrels, rabbits, ducks or geese you see we live near Fox River and that’s why so many diffrerent I guess. So Charlie barks a lot. I even had one rude neighbor come over and told me to shut my dog up. Excuse me, but I know when too much is too much! I would never tell Charlie to be quiet unless it was too much… I mean what if I needed that bark if ya know what I mean. No, my Charlie is a good watch dog as much as he is my best friend. Have a wonderful day!!! Charlie says, “Woof”! π
We don’t bark a lot, but we love to howl, howl loudly, and howl a lot, but we do a lot of that indoors. Outdoors, Mom will bring us in if we are too loud too long. It’s what we were made to do, so we do it.
Excellent shot!
Squirrels are such a tease. Flynn would chase them right to the top of the tallest trees, but then they would cheat by taking a flying leap to the next tree. I was always afraid he would try and do the same, but thankfully he didn’t.
Ours do the same in our trees and they jump over to the tree on the other side of the fence. So not fair!
Heeheehee! Somehow i think that squirrel got away.
They always do, but one day we will catch one, I just know it.
Squirrels…they are more TAIL work than nosework. Tell your mom to get a fake squirrel or two and throw them around for distractions when you are practicing. maybe that will help/\.
Chablis
I managed to compose myself for the half minute or so I needed to work, and then hunting was my reward.
You got that right!!
Darn tree rats!
They’re always pesky, aren’t they?
They are just mean the way they tease dogs and get us into trouble.
That’s a tough distraction to ignore! Good job!
It was really tough, but I did it.
great shot π
Thank you.
