My birthday countdown begins today. Next Thursday, seven days from now I will be turning eight! I was born on June 17th, 2013. In our family, the birthday girl gets the blog and social media for a week, and now it is my turn! I may be considered a senior dog being over seven, but I’m still a goofy pup at heart. I love to be silly and run around with toys like my Furballz.
Today I would like to look back at how I have changed each year of my life. The photo of my first birthday was rather cute. I have no idea why I was all into pink that year being purple girl.
My second birthday I was the family birthday girl clown. Because I seem to be so wrapped up in my singing, Katie and Emma were working on stealing all the rest of my birthday cupcakes. At least I was having a good time, right?
For my third birthday I was the elegant hound. I got all fancied up and posed in the evening light. I think it must have been a teenage phase of some sort.
My fourth birthday I seem to be very contemplative, not looking so happy. I wonder what was on my mind that day?
When I turned five I started to have fun again. Madison ordered me a fancy purple cake and then she said she would not eat it. Remember Madison never liked to eat until about two years ago. I didn’t have any trouble telling her to get busy and eat her cake. It was my day and she should eat the cake she ordered.
After five, I turned six. I am the fancy purple girl hound in my feathers and top hat. It looks like I’m off to a fancy party!
Last year I turned seven. Once again, Madison was putzing around with her food. Olivia was sad she ate her cookie so quickly, and me, the birthday hound is happy. I love to show off my smile!
Hope you enjoyed day one of my birthday countdown. Visit me on Facebook over the weekend. I will be back with some fun photos of the past years on Awww Monday!
Your 5th birthday pawty had us laughing out loud. That smirk on Madison’s face and your shouting at herβΊ Happy birthday week, Bailie!
Yes, we had an issue there. Hard to believe she never used to eat. Now she loves to eat but can be picky at times.
I just love your smile!
Thank you. I love to smile.
Wonderful photos! Looking forward to the countdown! your friend Lilly

It seems like so long to wait, but Mom is keeping me busy.
I am dying from the yelling photo!!! Can’t believe you are going to be 8 already! Roary says he wants to move into YOUR house, he is upset that he didn’t get a week long celebration for HIS birthday!!!
Mom thought it would be a nice thing for us to do, so we started it a while back.
I love the photos!!! We sure enjoy celebrating your birthday week with you!
Thank you. I have had lots of fun birthdays so far!
Bailie, we’re sure you were aware that age 7 is the age of reason … so now that you’ll soon be age 8 … guess what? You can throw reason to the wind: be crazy, be wild, have fun, do anything and everything you want to do! Let loose of all the energy you’ve held inside for the last year … go for it, girl!
I am saying that eight will be great and I am sure hoping so. Being wild and crazy, blazing my own trail my own way is my thing.
I love that you’re having a birthday week, Bailie. It’s the right thing to do. I love your look back to all your birthdays. You’re a beautiful girl.
Have a fabulous beginning to your birthday week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯

You have certainly had some fun birthdays, Bailie! I always remember your age, because it was your Mom bringing you home that inspired us to get Luke! He will not be 8 until October though. β₯
We never knew that. Eight will be great, I’m sure of it.
