My accomplishments while being eight do make me a happy girl. While I didn’t earn very many new titles, I had some fun and earned a few titles. I also got to do things locally, sometimes with the whole family. The riding in the car really ruins things for me, but it is the only way to get to places.
The best thing of all is my BCAT Title! Mom had a friend of ours drive us an hour south to the trial because it was just three days after Mom’s heart attack and she wanted me to get my title but she wanted to take it easy. I did earn my BCAT on the first run and I did my second run since I was there. It will always be a special title for the two of us.
In September I earned my Master Container Title in AKC Scent Work. I’m very emotional about my mom, and with all the health issues that were going on with her starting in April last year, I didn’t want to compete much anymore. For me it is too stressful when Mom is upset and that means I don’t really work at my sports.
In October, I earned my Excellent Buried Title and my overall Excellent Title in AKC Scent Work. These are the last titles I earned. My accomplishments while being eight are not many, and when I am nine, I am guessing there will be even less successes. I worry too much when Mom worries and that means I don’t work. We will see if things change, but for now, about the only thing I may do is FastCAT. It’s fine with me, my siblings can keep bringing home the titles and ribbons. I’m not into competition like they are.
My GBGV Life is happy, so weโre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
Being a superstar isn’t everything, Bailie, but being happy is most important, in our opinion.
Unless you are Olivia who gets happier when she wins, but I really don’t care much about it all. I may compete here and there, but my serious competition days are probably done because I’m not so into it.
that is just wonderful… and you are a winner of course of course… I don’t care much for a win too… and da phenny comes only for da girls or to embarrass our mama to da max ;O)
Not as much of a winner as my sisters but enough for me.
There is nothing wrong in slowing down a little and enjoying life. There are several things that used to truly enjoy doing that no longer hold my interest the same as before.
Yeah, I’m just not so into it anymore.
Maybe your strength is not in the sports field; maybe your place is being therapy and support for your Mom
I would love to be a therapy dog, but Mom has no interest, so I will just be Bailie.
Bailie
I don’t have a WP, FB or Twitter account.
It seems to be the only way to comment today so I wanted to be sure you saw this. You are such a sweetie
Bailie we all have our strengths…I think yours are being the family Cheerleader and welcoming committee when they come home.
Oh and you are absolutely a beauty too.
Hugs cecilia
Awww, thank you. Sorry if you had comment troubles. I am happy to be home, and if everyone is home with me it is the best.
So sweet! You are dear pup, Bailie. Your mom is lucky to have you in her life!! You should get a ribbon for Nursing. The Clara Barton of Dogs. Have a great week Bailie! Happy almost birthday! your friends Lilly and Chester
I love to hang out and cuddle with some walks and stuff to keep fit.
You are doing great, Bailie. I worry about my mom too. Sometimes when I snuggle on her lap a noise outside gets my attention and I launch off of her! I leave bruises. I don’t mean to hurt her. Happy Almost Birthday! XOXO Sparkle
Mom has way too many bruises. She is hoping she can change her meds next month because she doesn’t like what they do.
I’m happy for you too and I know mom is very proud of you. Slowing down isn’t a bad thing.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. โฅ
Mom is proud of me, but she says she knows how much better I can be if I try, but I don’t feel like trying much.
Bailie, you sure did well this year. You have different interests and talents than your sibings. I agree, you are a great emotional suport for your mom, and this year, in particular, she needed/needs it. We are having beastly hot temperatures here in St. Louis. Tell your mom to watch out for herself and you all! I am sleeping on tile floors – cushions are too hot for my coat these days! Your new friend, Jimmy Parker, CM2.
p.s. My mom misses her dear Chablis, but I am bringing some new life to the house; and since I am mature, she doesn’t have to worry about puppy stuff.
Our puppy brother is really nice and pretty well behaved. I am just not the same as my siblings when it comes to sports for so many reasons. I will just do what I want to do from now on.
You are, and always will be, an automatic winner sweet Bailie!
Awww, thank you.
Bailie you are a very sensitive gal and worrying about your mom is normal. You did great and should be very proud of yourself and all of your accomplishments. A title or ribbon is not everything, just being the best little gal you can be and helping your mom with your younger siblings is more important. Just keep doing what you are doing, taking care of your mom. You are the best! I hope you are having a wonderful birthday week.
I do worry about her all the time. I am very emotionally tied to people and that takes priority.
Awwww you are winnner paws down! Hugs to you and your Mom!
Thank you.
Those are some great accomplishments this year Bailie…especially the first one!
xoxo,
Rosy, Sunny & Jakey
I’m proud of what I did do, but these days I’m not into competing.
Every puppy’s different, you are a lover not a competer.
I have my moments where I really enjoy sports but not that many anymore.
Your such a special girl!
Thank you.
You wear 8 very well, sweet girl.
Thank you. It has fit me fine, but now I’m ready for nine.
