If you ever wanted to know how to move a large object, today is your lucky day! Bailie’s video today will provide you with techniques I guarantee you never thought of before! Right now I seem to be stuck on tunnel posts, but I promise this is the last post about any kind of tunnel for a while. When I posted about our new tunnel last Friday, My Brown Newfies said they would love to see Bailie moving the cat tunnel. I had never thought of that before, but it is really funny, so thank you to Sherman, Leroy, and their mom for the pawsome suggestion/idea! Hope you enjoy the clip!
As you know, Bailie has had a love affair with the cat tunnel. We keep the tunnel upstairs in our toy room/stuffie hospital. Almost daily, Bailie somehow manages to sneak away from Mom and I, go upstairs, and drag the tunnel downstairs or at least part way until Mom hears the commotion. It is quite a project as it is long and flexible but she manages. This weekend, Mom took a video of it to give my readers a good laugh. Bailie takes the entire project very seriously, and is super proud of herself when she gets it downstairs. I try to keep my videos under a minute, but it took Bailie almost four minutes to get the tunnel from the top of the stairs to her bed downstairs. My editor did her best to shorten the video, but Bailie has so many funny moves and tricks, including getting her head stuck in it, there was simply too much that could not be cut. The video is a bit over a minute but worth watching if you want a good laugh at Bailie’s expense!
I’m joining in the Monday Mischief blog hop brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies.
Bawahwhahhwhha Bailie you sure are clever, you nearly went down the second set of stairs yourself..too funny xxxooxxx
Mollie and Alfie
She still has balance issues sometimes…puppies!
Bailey you just cracked us up with you antics. BOL funny. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks…I am a silly puppy sometimes!
That…was hilarious. Bailie looks so proud when she gets it to the bottom too.
She is quite proud of her work!
BOL! Good job Bailey
She works really hard at it, that is for sure!
Haha! I am laughing so hard right now I’m crying! Bailie is hilarious! I love how she tossed it down the stairs and just stood there and then when she stuck her head in the hole to move it! OMG! Thanks for the laughs this morning Bailie!
Hey, you had the brilliant idea. Mom loves how she contemplates how to toss it from the top of the stairs, but the head in the hole flip thing and then almost falling down the stairs are her so funny. Glad you liked it!
She is certainly a determined little girl. That was the cutest video. Just love Bailie!
Thanks…where there is a puppy will, there is a puppy way!
Very clever Bailey. She knew exactly what she was doing. I love how she brings it right to her bed. “Mine!” Does she ever attempt to go through the cat tunnel?
She used to go in it and I had a photo of her in it on my Friday post, but now she is way too big but she still loves that tunnel!
Good job Bailie. Geez mom, why don’t you leave the tunnel downstairs where it belongs and save her all that work! Great move with the head inside the tunnel.
She is a creative puppy! Toys should be in the toy room and we have so many toys downstairs already, that needs to stay upstairs!
Oh good gravy she’s cute! So funny! Good way to keep a doggie occupied, LOL!
It does keep her quite busy!
Your Sister is very smart!!
She does seem to think over the entire process before getting started!
Haha the victory tail wag at the end kills me! Well done.
She is quite proud of her accomplishment!
ROTFBOL! Did you see her almost fall down the stairs?!? Oh, that Bailie…Emma, you sure have your paws full with that one!
Happy Monday,
Oz
She is a total clown and keeps us on our toes and laughing around here all the time!
that was just too cute! That tunnel is larger than Bailie!! Wonder what her obsession with it is? That is the BIGGEST doggy toy ever BOL!!! Don’t buy dog toys anymore, just CAT TUNNELS!!!
She used to fit in it (photo on last Friday’s post) and play with cat bro Bert in it. I think she likes the holes in the top and it has some crunchy stuff in it that she likes. She has always liked crinkle toys. She obviously thinks big!
Wow, Baillie, that’s impressive! And HILARIOUS! You’re growing up so quickly!!
I know, she is almost like a dog these days!
BOL! This is hilarious! All good ideas on moving that big tunnel Bailie. Except for maybe putting your head inside of it haha.
That actually worked because she was able to flip it from the inside, but she is just a wild and crazy puppy!
Ha ha! So cute. 🙂 Just don’t move it when there is a cat inside.
Believe me, Bailie and I would love to toss old bro Bert down in the tunnel but he isn’t that dumb! Cats can be such troublemakers!
Wow what a funny video. I’m glad your mom caught you on film. It was so funny.
It happens almost every day so she just had to remember to watch for it 😉
Hahaha Bailie! You are too clever
She is a real little stinker!
Yup, I thought she was going tumbling down the stairs in that one part there! That was great, thanks so much for sharing it!! She does have that hound dog determination, doesn’t she?
Very determined and methodical. She just has to work a bit more on balance but she is at the awkward teenage dog stage I think!
I can’t stop smiling. That was adorable.
However, I worried a little when Bailie put her head in the opening that she would end up going down the stairs like a slinky. 🙂
She has never fallen down the stairs yet. She takes the tunnel down almost every day or at least starts to and then gets stopped by the Mom Police. She is just a clown with fur!
very clever
Now if she could use that cleverness to do something more useful…
So cute! What a proud girl after she got it down! (She did look a wee bit embarrassed though after the head-stuck/trip on the stair moments.)
I think the trip and almost fall scared and confused her, but she moves this thing almost daily, and is constantly working on her technique.
Oh Bailie, you gave us the giggles!
She is a true GBGV – a clown 😉
I love the proud little trot once she gets it down. My dog Tucker loves our cat tunnel too. Only his favorite game is to put his ball in one of the holes, and then stick his head in to get it out. Provides endless entertainment.

She does provide a lot of entertainment. We are real fixed on balls at our house, she has some squeaky toys she likes but the tunnel seems to be enough amusement on its own. She used to love going in it with the cats until she got to big to fit.
That Bailieis one clever pup! You’d better watch out!
She does figure things out pretty well, that is for sure.
That is so funny. I wonder what her fascination is with the cat tunnel? She looks so proud of herself too! God idea Jen, Sherman and Leroy!
She is always super proud when she gets it to her bed. She loved to go in there with the cats when she was small enough to do that and I think she just doesn’t want to believe she doesn’t fit. It also makes a crinkle noise and she loves crinkle toys.
Love it! I especially enjoyed the part where she tripped up a bit and started wagging her tail. She was like “don’t worry, totally meant to do that!” XD
Gracefully trying to cover up an almost disaster. We love watching her work at her tunnel moving!
Awesome Bailie! I bet you’ll figure out how to get it down even faster pretty soon. I like the way you check for cats by sticking your head all the way in, in the middle of the stairs. Who knows, they might have come looking for it. BTW, what DO the cats think of you stealing their tunnel?
Cat bro Bert still likes to go in it and tease Bailie, but both cats now like the bigger new dog tunnel better when it is set up.
Bailie, I hope you don’t end up being too smart for your own good! BOL!
Bunny
I have to just keep learning and getting smarter…as you know in a multi pet household, you have to really work to stick out 😉
BOL o bless her that was so cute!!
We could watch her do that all day!
Wait, Bailie, you forgot your duck on the stairs :o) Thanks for a super cute video!
She doesn’t have a problem leaving a pretty dead Aussie duck behind 😉
LOL!!!! Good job Bailie! Although you gave me a little scare when you almost took a tumble down the stairs!
Sometimes I am still working on my balancing skills, but I have never fallen down the stairs.
That is too cute! You have one smart sister Emma!
Smart and way too busy!
Rooooo I love the bit where she falls down one step, catches her balance and starts wagging her tail! She looks mighty proud of herself too for dragging that big thing all that way *Waggy tail*
She is quite a proud puppy, but since she knows she isn’t really supposed to drag the tunnel around I think she was even more proud!
LOL Bailie is sure a character and very smart! Brown dawgs would only ever steal something like that to chew it. 🙂
She chews it a little bit but she prefers wrestling with it, crazy puppy!
Bailie is definitely determined!!
That she is! A girl with a goal and she goes for it.
The video is adorable! Bailie is so cute!
Thanks…just can’t let it go to her head 😉
That’s Great! Has she ever tried to move the tunnel with the cat in it?
No, but she used to play in there with the one cat.
Hilarious! (and just as funny the third time I watched it). Hmmm… I’m thinking every puppy ought to have a kitty tunnel!
That is the problem. She tries to do this daily but Mom doesn’t want her to ruin it. It is hard to stop her because it is so fun to watch!
You’re so clever!! Be careful you don’t fall on those stairs buddy!! I love how you took it to your bed – I do that when I’ve got something cool too! 🙂
I hope you’re having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
That Bailie is still hauling the tunnel downstairs almost every day…crazy puppy!
