Keep dry Emma!
sumskersandearlskers13.blogspot.com
We really need the rain, so it is a good thing, but rain isn’t a lot of fun.
Have a wonderful Wednesday and stay dry Emma.
Best wishes Molly
It is a wet week, but I have my umbrella.
Love the umbrella! Stay dry my fur-iend! π
Thanks, Spencer. Looks like we are in for a lot of wet the next week or so.
You are far braver than me Emma! We are finally getting April showers so we are staying in this morning. No flowers, yet! Love Dolly
We have to walk rain or shine, but Bailie and I don’t mind getting wet and messy.
Just looked at the Farmers Almanac and it is going to rain every day in April in the Northeast. Can I borrow your umbrella?
We are in for rain almost every day this week and next. We need rain but some sunshine would be nice. I think I’m going to need my umbrella.
LOL we are getting a few showers here today too!
Lots of showers this week and next, but it is April.
April SHOWERS are SO much Better than SNOW. RIGHT?”
Actually, we all, including Mom, prefer snow, but this time of year snow is pointless and we need rain to green things up.
Looking forward to a howling rendition of Singing in the Rain.
Oh, you missed it. We performed for the neighborhood while Mom took Katie around the block and left us out on the deck!
BOL! Silly pup! I have actually attempted to take mine out for a pee during a rain storm using an umbrella….it didn’t work out so well! haha
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Normally, umbrellas don’t work well as Mom has her hands full of leashes, but it works well as a shelter on the deck!
Or muddy paws. LOL
We have 12 of those these days!
Very smart. You look quite content under your umbrella. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
It’s a nice little shelter.
Moin Moin Emma :o) is that an umbrella of st peter ording? I love it!!!
Ha! I knew someone would recognize that! Yes it is. I lived there for almost a year, you know. Still miss the beach and the North Sea. I love putting hidden things in my photos sometimes to see if anyone catches on π You are one smart pup!
I’m a Weimaraner :o) LOL
Arrooooo!
Hi Emma! This is our first time to your blog. We are stopping by from BlogPaws! We look forward to following along! Have a great day!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I’m obviously a dog, but I live with two felines and one of them often appears in my postings.
It’s raining here too right now Emma. Can I borrow your cool umbrella?
It is going to rain on and off here for days, they say. I might need to keep my umbrella.
Oh. Rita thinks your brave, Emma! My friend sent me an umbrella with puppies on it and Rita wants nothing to do with it!
My sister Katie is afraid of things like umbrellas, but it doesn’t bother me. I’m pretty tough.
Walking two dogs means I never have a free hand for the umbrella. It is a raincoat all the way π
For walks, no umbrella as Mom needs her hands free, but for hanging out on the deck, it keeps me dry.
Hmmmmmmm. If I did my research correctly I would rather be eating a Danish pawstry rather than be under a Danish umbrella! Bring on the May flowers! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Close! It is from Sankt Peter-Ording on the North Sea coast about an hour from Denmark. It is where we lived in Germany.
Cute. We saw a doggy hat umbrella
Snorts
Lily & Edward
I’ve seen those…a paws free option.
It’s rainy and windy here to- just horrible, Kilo won’t step outside in it umbrella or not lol
Sounds like the weather on the North Sea coast in Germany. We just sucked it up and went out anyway.
You look classy with your umbrella! Here in FL it’s hot already. Phew!
Thankfully, it is still cool here.
we have been having morning showers almost every morning for a week – today is the first day it hasn’t rained
Did you move to Hawaii? Mom says it rains almost every morning there π
That is so cute Emma!
Thank you!
It’s been raining quite a bit here too. Mr. N could use his own umbrella!
These big ones are tough to carry as a dog, but nice for shelter on the deck.
Are you singing…and dancing…in the rain, Emma? Ma used to love to sing and dance in the rain when she was young!
I prefer an occasional howl and lots of stomping in puddles.
At least the snow is gone!
This is true and we need rain, just Mom isn’t a fan of rain.
Emma you look good, rain or shine!
You should see me after a good romp through the mud and puddles, it may change your opinion π
We have had so much rain that our backyard looks like a jungle and it is too wet to mow! I am going to need some wading boots!
I suggest you buy a couple goats and let them mow the grass down with their teeth and drink off the excess water.
…and green grass π Very cute picture!
The grass is trying, but we will need a warm sunny day to really do the trick.
Lovely pose Emma. I’m hearing Fred Astaire singing in the rain….
I might be able to howl it for your.
We were going to be jealous if you said “flowers”! We are expecting rain tonight, or maybe snow, sleet, freezing rain…who knows, but either way it’s never any fun. Try to stay dry, Emma!
We have rain, snow, sleet, all of it in the forecast for the next week or so, but it is April weather.
So true of April…we did get 3 inches of snow last night, and the dogs were enjoying it this morning!
I think we may get snow showers in the coming days too, but not much accumulation and 60’s over the weekend before it chills down again.
Elegant as always!
I try my best π
Oh Emma. My Mommy said we cannot have an umbrella for going potty and I don’t think that was very nice. I showed her your posts and she was cranky. “I don’t have enough hands for an umbrella,” she said. I told her I’d hold it in my teeth (I like to hold things in my teeth) but she hid her head with a blanket. What a wimp.
Bruin
We don’t usually have one on our walks either because Mom needs her hands for all the dogs and leashes, but it makes a nice shelter for hanging out on the deck.
We here “hail” you, size of golf balls the last two days – well actually 1.1 inch ( golf balls are 1.6 my dad informed us). Your friend, Chablis.
p.s. I hurt my paw stepping into a chipmunk hole two days ago while chasing one of those striped rascals, do you think the hail could drown them out? I DO so love to chase them, but we are swimming in the back yard right now due to melting hail.
Hail is nasty stuff, don’t like it at all. We deal with rain, love snow, but no desire for the hail. Hope the roof, siding and vehicles aren’t damaged.
Hey Emma!
Wow, would you consider loaning me that umbrella?!? It’s raining here too. BOL Happy WWed.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commish
I need it to keep my furs dry. It’s raining the next few days here.
That is an adorable picture of you, Emma! <3
Thank you!
Such a cute photo Emma! We just had our first big rain of the year today too!
We need a lot more rain, so I will need this umbrella!
Hi Y’all!
Look at you under an umbrella! Wow!
Y’all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
A girl has to keep her furs in order and dry.
hahaha cute, stay dry emma.
I’m trying!
Bwwwah!!!! Good one!
π
We bet you get lots of big beautiful flowers too!!
Smileys!
Dory
Not yet, but maybe in a few weeks when it gets warmer.
That’s a pretty umbrella, Emma! I hope you get some good weather soon.
Thanks. It’s from where we lived in Germany.
Sampson hates the umbrella almost as much as he hates pottying in the rain. π
I’m not real keen on it when it starts moving, but I don’t scare easily. Katie won’t go near an umbrella…our big fierce guard dog!
Clever little Emma. Nice job!
Thank you.
Newfs don’t use umbrella’s. They never mind if they get wet:)
Bailie and I don’t mind being all wet either, but Mom prefers a dry dog!
In the Mile High City, April showers bring mud. BOL-probably because Sam is terrified of the umbrella. π
I usually am in the mud too, but sometimes on the deck, it is a nice shelter.
