Ready for the snow sisters? Bailie and Madison are seriously joined at the hip, which in this photo seems like actual proof! Mom and I are happy they have each other and have so much fun!
Once in a blue moon I will do perimeter patrol with Madison, but I don’t usually play or get wild with her. I’m a lady, not a crazy girl like her and Bailie!
Sometimes the little one even seems to irritate Bailie, but Bailie puts up with a lot of nonsense!
They enjoy running together. Madison still is small enough to squeeze under the pine trees where Bailie can’t catch her!
The crazies enjoy being out in fresh snow. Madison loves to bite into Bailie’s ears or tail, but her favorite move is to sneak up behind her and bite her right in the butt! Bailie has the patience of a saint.
No matter what, Madison knows Bailie will take her under her wing whenever it is necessary.

Oh my gosh, this is so sweet. Their growing bond shines through crystal clear. We have only had one dog at a time, but these pictures sure make me want a second one!
Katie and I had that same bond the Madison and Bailie have. Now with Katie gone, I’m pretty much an only dog no interest in my sisters. One dog has its benefits too as you have so much more time to focus on just the one.

The little one is always trying to get close to me, but I prefer to keep my distance. I’m good just with myself and my mom.

Bailie is truly amazing with putting up with all the stuff Madison dishes out. They are really a great pair. Katie was like that with me when I was small too.

A similar dynamic played out in our house. I thought the two doxies would fall madly in love but instead Sherm and Walt are best buddies and Bruiser while I know he loves their company and seeks them out – he’s not besties with either. He takes care of Walter for sure and taught him a lot but it stops there… I LOVE these pics.
Katie and I were always tight. Even in the last months when she couldn’t do much Mom would find me hanging out with her. I never bonded with Bailie and I have no use for a wild puppy. Mom was hoping Bailie would bond with Madison so she too could experience what I had with Katie. I’m content just being pretty much alone or hanging out with Mom.
Those pics are so sweet! That’s so great that they get along so well! Funny about Madison biting her on the butt. When Rita and Reggie play,they both go for each others’ most prominent feature – Reg goes for her legs, and she goes for his ears! 🙂
Ears and tails are always popular, but for some reason she gets a kick out of biting Bailie right in the butt!

Mom says we are all beautiful, but Bailie’s face, with the eyeliner, is really something special and very model like.
That’s so fantastic that they are close enough in age to just have fun and play and be together. I really miss that, we had 8 years when my two were inseparable. Enjoy all the fun snow and having fun.
Katie and I were always together and we were four years apart. Even in the last years when she couldn’t do much Mom would find me lying down next to her or hanging out with her. I think Bailie and Madison will have that same bond.
We sure can tell that the snow sisters are bonded and having a blast in the snow!! Chloe and LadyBug are just the same…they love to run and play in the snow…as long as it is not too deep!!
They don’t care how deep it is, they want to be in it. Even Madison jumps in where it is almost over her head and doesn’t care anymore.

Adding Madison to your pack reminds mom when dad brought home a kitten with two cats already, who weren’t close. Saffie decided that Herb was her best friend and never left that cat alone leaving Peaches in peace. Herb seemed to really miss Saffie as she went to the bridge about 10 months before he did. Emma is becoming an old soul. Love Dolly
Mom says I’m turning into a bitchy old lady when it comes to other animals, but I’m still a total baby with her. I guess it can happen to any hound.
Oh. My. Dog!!! This is just too cute for words!! And reminds me soooo much of Callie’s and Shadow’s early years! Once they settled into adulthood – aka maturity – they remained best “buds”. I really hope that at some point Ducky will accept Shadow (again) and settle into at least a truce, if not a friendship/sisterhood, with her.
Katie and I started out the same was as Bailie and Madison. Mom hopes the two of them are besties for life. I don’t think I will be involved much.
