Little Madison is a growing and changing puppy. Right before our eyes, she is getting so much bigger, more confident, and recently her furs started changing too.
For one thing, Madison can really run now. Bailie used to have to take it slow so Madison could keep up, but now, Madison is super fast. She even has that cute GBGV running form!
Although she is getting older, 5 1/2 months old now, she still enjoys using Bailie’s ears as handles! Luckily, she has most of her big girl teeth so it isn’t so painful when she chomps down!
The ears are still a flying. This photo is a great example of Bailie and Madison practicing their synchronized ear swinging. They are pretty good I think!
My crazy sisters enjoy plotting and scheming together. Madison is about 24 lbs and is over half the size of Bailie. She will always be shorter, but her body size will be similar.
Don’t think at first glance that Madison is dirty or moldy! The past week or so, her fur has been really growing and lots of black freckles are coming in. We have also noticed her red/brown eyebrows are fading to tan.
Both Bailie and I started our fur color changes at around six months old which means Madison is about at that point. Her fur is getting so long, Mom has started stripping her coat! We are still hoping her black stays black, but it’s to early to know for sure. To compare her current look to six weeks ago, you can check out Madison in her first snow.
No matter what happens to her size or color, we love Madison, and she is truly a blessing for our family. She is such a sweetie, smart, confident, and full of fun! Just three inches of snow, and she turned into a maniac for these photos! I’m thankful she has Bailie to hang out with. They are perfect for each other!

it’s great to see how fast your grow Madison… to watch this changes is a little like watching a miracle :o) and with 5 1/2 month your big teeth are still there and the sharlike puppy teeth are gone? yay said the mama only some weeks to go :o)))
I have a lot of big dog teeth, still a few baby ones to lose. I love the new set as I can chew much better!

We have to keep going back to previous photos as she changes so quickly before our eyes, we don’t notice it always.
They grow up so fast! I remember when Callie was 6 months old, and Shadow. And I remember how wound up Ducky was when we first adopted her at 7 months old. Time flies when you’re having fun! ?
It’s crazy amazing! Too bad we can’t stay tiny pups a bit longer!

They are so wonderful together. Bailie has the patience of a saint. It’s exactly what Mom wanted for them, just like Katie and I were so close.
What a great tema Bailie and MAdison make, they are perfect zoomie partners. Plus, this leaves you free time for wabbit hunting!

It is so interesting to see their colors change as they get older. Madison is so pretty. Pierre still grabs Bentley’s ears. ☺
I think ear grabbing will be a life long thing, but it will diminish and not be as painful with adult teeth. Madison’s habit of sneaking up behind Bailie and biting her in the butt does need to stop. Bailie doesn’t think it is real funny.
Madison is such a cutie and is on her way to being a beautiful lady. We sure enjoy seeing her running at full speed!

Emma you are such a sweet big sister to share your blog with those two hooligans! I love the synchronized ears. Madison is indeed growing up right before our eyes. Sh is so lucky to have you as her big sister and your mom as her new mom. That puppy needs a job… and she will have it at your home!
She is a very busy puppy already with her sports and obedience, not to mention just having fun. We are lucky to have her.

In the photos from 6 weeks ago, she looked so long, but now she is definitely looking taller, like her legs finally decided to grow! It is so much fun watching how their colors change as they grow. Sometimes you don’t even notice as much if you see them every day, but when you look at older photos it really shows. I love how much fun she and Bailie have together!
She is a bit taller, but she won’t be a lot taller. Bailie will always tower over her! One day she will fill out a bit too.
