My sisters Bailie and Madison are two peas in a pod, just like Katie and me were before she left us. All three of us girls are thankful for sisters, especially on the Thanksgiving holiday. “Everything in life is better when your sister is by your side!”
This is a photo of me and Katie at a different dog park way back in 2011.
In 2015, Mom snapped this photo of me and Bailie. We don’t hang out together anymore, but we used to do a lot of stuff together. Now I find her irritating and leave her to hang out and be all wild and crazy with Madison.
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Happy Thanksgiving Emma! My sister is my best friend too! And she would say her brother is her best friend! Hooray for siblings. Have a great day. Your doodle friend Dash
Every dog deserves a best friend even if it isn’t a real relative because it makes things more fun.
You are absolutely right. Have a great Thanksgiving.
My mom always wishes she had a sister.
Sisters are the best, and every relationship is different. Sometimes it’s best to leave the young ones to do their own thing – you’ve earned some relaxation time, Emma!
As I’ve gotten older, I don’t like lots of wildness and that is what my sisters are all about, so I prefer to hang out with Mom.
I agree sisters are great…and to have them is like having you in a double-pack butt different ;o)
Always someone to play with, steal from, irritate, and just enjoy life with.
Family. The good and the bad, and the wonderful.
That is a very true statement!
There’s a lid for every pot!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
You are so right on that!
I oove those photos and I think all of my sisters are pretty special too!
We are always amazed at how well you all get along!
The thing about sisters is the you end up having lots of different relationships with them over the years. And you’re always glad you have one (or 2) even when you aren’t. π
Now I know for sure you are a sensible human! They are around, but I prefer to not be around them. Katie was different and we did everything together. She cannot be replaced for me.
I love my Boston terrier sister, Lyla. XOXO, Sparkle
That’s great you have a wonderful sister. Mine was Katie. Bailie and I were never tight like that and I certainly am not tight with either Bailie or Madison. They are young, wild, and irritating.
I agree! I have 4 sisters and we always have a lot of fun together! Happy Thanksgiving, Emma to you and your sisters and your mom and catbro!
My mom always wished she had a sister, but she only got a brother. Sometimes he is like our cat bro Bert, but usually she likes him.
I luv my sisters too.
You three are adorable.
Oh how I loved these photos! Just wonderful!!! Sending (((hugs)))
Thank you. My mom loves them too.
I never had sisters but it seems like it would have been fun! Happy Thanksgiving!
Mom only has a brother but always wished she had a sister, and our only brother is a cat…not a good example I would think.
I am thankful for my sisters this year, and my brothers, but especially my husband and our two dogs – Chablis & Elbe
Sisters are great. My mom always wished she had a sister. I think that is why she has so many girl furry ones.
I never had sisters either but it sure sounds fun! Our pups are siblings, and they are always happiest when they are together! Great photos.
Mom says it is good to have at least two of each species in the house so they have someone to be with.
We are up in the air about sisters right now, but we love watching you and your sisters!
xoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
Mom contemplated getting us a brother and naming him Nelson instead of our little sister Madison, but she just couldn’t do it. She loves us girls and our brother remains that darn cat bro Bert!
Mew Mew hellos from me & Woof Woofs from my Basset Minion Bessie. We like the photos your momma took of you. I don’t have a kitty sisfur, which would be fun. Sometimes I play tag with Bessie, but sometimes she get’s real goofy! Tee Hee Hee! Hugs!
Thank you for dropping by! Happy Thanksgiving!
Everything is better when you have someone to share it with, especially a sister!
It is more fun than being all by yourself.
Emma you’re sounding like someone my age – preferring to spend more time alone are we? You’re still a sweetie….
Well, I am eleven, and Mom says I’m very mature and have a lot of British in me. I don’t like all the nonsense of my sisters.
