Welcome to Emma’s Flower Tour! We are in the midst of the two prettiest, best smelling weeks of the year in my opinion. The flowering trees and bushes are all in full bloom, and Mom is doing a lot of sniffing on our walks.
Remember, I’m short, trees and bushes are tall. Because of this size difference, my photographer can’t get a shot of my cute mug next to the pretty flowers. I decided to take the camera and paw pad around on my own, taking some pretty photos for all of you. I know nothing about flowers and trees, so I can’t tell you what they are, just that they are super pretty!
The royal wedding is tomorrow. I’m really excited since I was born right outside London. These white flowers I am calling royal wedding flowers. Don’t they look like wedding flowers to you? I will be watching at 6am, and I bet I will see some of these at the event.
My mom loves these deep pink flowering trees. The flowers do smell as well. If you had a scratch and sniff monitor, I bet you could catch a whiff of them.
These delicate pink and white flowers remind me of something for a little girl. They are so very dainty and precious looking. Madison could wear some in her furs, since she is our little girl.
Another bush has some different white flowers. They are pretty small, and don’t have any scent to them at all.
Of course, it wouldn’t be spring flowers without the world’s most popular flower, the dandelion. This one I even know by name. If you photograph them, they don’t look too bad!
The above photo is from 2003 in Bavaria, Germany. It is Katie and Trine in the dandelion field. Katie was about one, and Trine was ten years old. See the mountains in the background? The two sisters look nice and happy out sitting in the field.
It’s easy to find a sea of yellow to pose in. Just look for a field, or public space. Dandelions are actually pretty. I don’t know why humans have decided not to like them. My mom has a fit when one shows up in our own lawn. Hope you enjoyed my little photo tour!

Emma, the tree blossoms are fruit trees (either true or ornamental); cherry, plum, pear, apple… and are always gorgeous. You did a fine job of capturing them in the lens! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Thank you. I think some are cherry something or other. We enjoy looking and smelling but always forget what they are.
I love flowering trees. I rarely know what they are either, but yes, they always smell so good.
We figure it is only important to know if you want to buy such a tree.

We enjoyed that very much, Emma! That photo of Trine and Katie is so special! We agree that dandelions have gotten a bad rep…they are pretty when they blossom. But then they get ugly when they’re done, and those seeds fly everywhere to make more and more and more…..LOL.
Some of those white flowers look like apple blossoms, we’re just starting to get some of those here too. They smell beautiful!
Dandelions are ugly when they turn to fuzz and start looking like weeds, you are right.

Ah the dandelion a little girl kept trying to feed them to us this weekend no matter how mom kept trying to tell her thank you but dogs don’t eat flowers.
We know a few dogs that love to eat them. None of us eat them, though.
What a great idea to get the camera down on your level!! You captured some great flowers Emma…We see where your Mama must have gotten her photography talent, you taught her well!
