A dog party planner? Who knew Miss Sassy Pants would take on such a job, but with her tech abilities, it does make sense. It’s going to be a steamy, hot weekend, and I didn’t feel much like baking anyway. Madison got right to work online, ordering what she needed to put on a great fifth party for Bailie!
Bailie has been a bit down, not being able to play with her strained hip flexor muscle, so Madison wanted to make sure the birthday party would cheer her up. She started by ordering up some supplies from Amazon. When the shipment arrived, Madison carefully checked the box contents to make sure everything was there.
Madison has only been with us for one year of birthdays but she said our party hats were boring. Of course, she decided to order some new ones. Can’t wait to see her try to assemble them!
Next she found a store, not far from our house, that also has a dog bakery. On the way to her agility class, she had Mom stop there so she could order a nice birthday cake for Bailie. They have a lot of options, but knowing Bailie so well, Madison was able to put the order together quickly.
Now, what will we give her for a gift? She isn’t really into toys, especially plastic or rubber ones, so those are not in the running at all.
Bailie loves treats, so maybe some treats would make a good gift. Madison said they all smell so good, she couldn’t possibly choose just one or two kinds. Well, maybe treats are not the best this year since Bailie is not allowed to run around a lot at the moment, and Mom is trying to keep her calories down.
Madison was really most enamored with the idea of Whimzees or natural chews. The two of them love to gnaw on chews in the evenings together. We already have a lot of chews, though.
Miss Sassy Pants Dog Party Planner invites you all to come back on Monday for a complete birthday party report. See what kind of cake Madison decided on, and what Bailie gets as a gift for her fifth birthday.

Happy Birthday to you. Have a great party. A lot of love went into the planning.
Oh yes, Madison is taking her role very seriously. We will make it a special day.
oh I bet you picked the right gifts and you have the paw for planning the bestest parties… can I call you when we plan neilsons furst birthday?
Since Madison is a tech hound, she would probably prefer a live chat, but she might figure out how to use the phone. Kids these days!
Madison is sure the expert on planning for Bailey!!! Can hardly wait to see the party
We know for sure it will be warm! Hopefully Bailie will like everything Madison chooses.
The party well be a huge success!
Paws crossed. We’ve never had a bad party, and we don’t want to start with this one. It is a lot for the little one to organize.
Well Miss Sassy Pants finds a new talent! Who knew? And we thought your pillow sitting there keeping an eye on her was a nice touch!! Can’t wait to see the birthday party. Have a good weekend. Your doodle friend Dash
Even when I am napping, my eyes are on those sisters of mine, LOL! We will make it a fun day for Bailie, I’m sure of it.
We are so excited for the pawty! I know you girls will fix it up really special for Bailie. ♥ Happy birthday Huggles to you!!!!!!
We are all starting to get excited now that it is almost the actual day. Madison still has some work to do, though.
I think successful party planning runs in your family!
She has only had a year to learn the process, but we know she will do a good job.
I don’t know if it’s my phone’s WP app or my WiFi connection, but I can’t get the like button to work again. It’s not your blog, Emma – it’s happening on all the WP blogs this afternoon – it’s definitely on my end. Oh well. I’m looking forward to the party report on Monday!
Weird. I know we got several likes today, so the button has to be working. See you Monday!
Oh, we can’t wait to see!! Emma, it is great that you have a younger sibling to take over some of your jobs….you’ve earned some time off! It looks like Madison is doing a fine job as well.
She is super excited to plan her first party. We’ll see how it turns out.
Wow, Miss SassyPants Madison! You’ve really grown up – putting together such a fancy party for your sister! I love dog bakeries, don’t you? I bet that the cake will be great!
Her nose has been really heavily involved in the planning process!
