Meal Mixers can be so good for dogs! Being a pup in Minnesota during the winter is not always easy. We need to eat right to keep up our energy to stay warm on the bitterly cold days, and racing through snow also burns a lot of calories. How do we fuel our furry bodies to remain active?

Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixer Lil’ Superblends are a great way to fuel a dog! As a #ChewyInfluencer we have tried different types of meal mixers and toppers, but these are extra special as they are loaded with superfoods! Chewy.com has so many great products for all pets, but especially dogs!
Have a look at this superblend of freeze dried raw chicken, complimented with superfoods blueberries, strawberries, and bananas sitting on top of our usual kibble! There are no grains, gluten, fillers, artificial preservatives, or colorings in this product. Probiotics have also been added to aid in digestion.
How do we eat the Meal Mixer Lil’ Superblends?
A topper for our usual kibble
Most commonly, pet parents place the mixers on top of the kibble for their dogs. This is a great way to add some “spice” to a normal meal, and provide even more nutrients. I’m more than happy to chow down on the delicious meal.
Training treats
We do a lot of training. Mom says getting treats all the time is not a good idea, so we often use freeze dried meats because we love them, and they are good for us. These tasty pieces of freeze dried raw chicken fit nicely into our training pouch. Did you know you can order these pouches with your own logo or photo? Emma ordered this one for our nose work treats.
Did I mention how tasty the chicken pieces are? They are really good! One thing to remember if you use these for training, you need to either use the superfood pieces too, or sort out the chicken pieces for treats.
Save the powder it is tasty too
We decided for us the best way to use this bag of goodness is to sort out most of the chicken pieces. The whole ones are a nice size, and they go into the treat pouch. We used the fruits as meal toppers.
As you probably know, with transport and handling, some of the freeze dried pieces will crumble. We then take the crumble and the superfood pieces and put them over our food in a powder with superfood chunks. It tastes every bit as good as using the whole chicken pieces. If you have a food snob at your house, this option is great because they can’t pick out the chicken pieces as they are powder. It is super yummy!
The Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixer Lil’ Superblends are one great way to fuel up your pup, and put a smile on her face! Stop by Chewy.com to order up a bag!

Those sound like they would be fantastic just about any way you want to serve them!
They are good, and I love the fruits too, Madison likes the meat part best.
I love anything Stella and Chewy and you are a GREAT model, Bailie!
Thank you, I’m working on my modeling skills.
Does your mom carry the them as treats on walks? I’ve had issues where they’ve crumbled up, which just makes a mess. I wondered if anyone else has the same issue.
We don’t take treats on walks because with two of us, there are no hands to pass them out, and we don’t really need food on the road. We use them for our sports and they rarely crumble. If some do crumble, Mom dumps the crumbs over our food.
they make super treats I’m sure … and yes you can use even the crumbs… they are absolutely tasty too ;O)
I even liked the dried fruits at treats. Madison only wanted the meat.
We’ve tried little sample bags of these before and Barley loved them as treats! Rye can’t do most freeze-dried things anymore, though, because the fat content is usually too high, so we’ll probably have to avoid these, too.
Those dietary restrictions really put a damper on food fun. Poor Rye.
I love, love, LOVE the Stella and Chewy Turkey Toppers! I have them every morning on top of my kibble. I love it if Mom drops one on the floor. Man am I quick to GRAB it! Did I tell you how much I love the Turkey Toppers? Oh, my sister Lyle likes them too. XOXO, Sparkle
We didn’t get the turkey ones, but the beef was real tasty. Glad you found something so tasty and healthy to eat.
Great review and we all love chewy, but I have to say your pup is a great poser. A great model. That’s what struck me today.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Thank you. We all learned from our sister Emma, who was a master at modeling.
Luke would probably be just as happy with the fruits for training treats too! I love your training pouch, I’m going to take a look at those.
Mom got one for Madison for agility and obedience first and then we needed one for nose work and came upon these you can personalize. They have lots of pockets and stuff, and they don’t dump the treats out like other pouches have.
It sounds like a great way to make the same old kibble taste more appealing, too!
It definitely spices things up at mealtime.
I love this topper too! Good choice Bailie!! Hey be careful in this cold weather. Let us know you’re ok! We are thinking about you. And update! we are getting a puppy! (not puppies!) things changed but we are ok with this change! There is a litter in late summer! A second puppy can join us then!). Have a good day! your friend Lilly
My mom says that might be a good thing. While more that one would be a lot of fun, the two would have their own bond and you might feel left out. It is easier to train one dog at a time too. We are super excited to see pics and hear all about the new arrival next month! Mom also says, getting up in the middle of the night to take the little one out is easier in warm weather. She has had to go out in pj’s and bare feet with us into the snow and cold, but that isn’t so much fun. Enjoy your alone time while it lasts, but having a sibling to show the ropes of life will be fun too.
Mom is not looking forward to the middle of the night trips outside! And every morning she looks at me, snuggles me and says “we better enjoy this whole we can!” Oh boy!
Mom has been lucky because I slept until 5 or 6 am even at 9 weeks most nights. Bailie was 12 weeks old and also made it through the night most nights. The lack of sleep in the beginning is the hardest thing for Mom to deal with. Have you gotten a package of Simple Solutions Urine Destroyer? It is at Chewy, PetCo, PetSmart, and Amazon. It is a miracle for pee messes with puppies. A must have according to Mom.
Nom! We are big fns of Stella & Chewy’s Meal toppers too!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Very tasty stuff indeed.
Those look tasty!
I think the pieces of meat are the best, but Bailie loves the fruit too.
Very cool that you can put your picture on it!
We came across that option by accident, and love it!
