The Final Four 2019, did you know we are hosting it? Actually, we are not personally hosting it, but Minneapolis is. Basketball is not a sport we follow at our house, but since there is a lot going on for this big upcoming weekend, we decided to find out what this Final Four thing is all about. I think we are both too short to play professionally, but we could maybe hang out on the sidelines and just look cute at the games!
We heard they had a 3D bracket on the mall downtown. Of course, we stopped by to have a look and a sniff. Thankfully we went two weeks before the big event, when our Gophers were still in the running. Later in the day, after we took this photo, they lost. What a bummer! During the March Madness stuff, every human is talking about their brackets. Well, we found our own bracket.
The old Dayton’s store has their windows all decorated for the Final Four 2019. They did the same for the Super Bowl last year. We love the bright, bold colors they chose for their logo.
Before we headed out of the city, Bailie and I decided to pretend we were commentators. These nice chairs were strategically placed for us. We could talk back and forth about our brackets, and everything basketball. The one and only thing we can tell you for sure about the big Final Four weekend coming up is…we will go nowhere near downtown during the weekend. It will be just plain madness, with no room for a couple of hounds. Actually, they have now blocked off the whole area, so no dogs can go there even if they wanted to. What do you think? Are you a basketball fan? Would you go downtown for the festivities?
We’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday because we are happy hounds.
I finks you would be pawsome cheerleaders or commentators if you prefer…..you two could turn your paws to whatever you want!
Loves and licky kisses

I think we should be howl-leaders. We could really get the crowds howling with us.
How cool to have be the host of the big dance but too bad they won’t let you boogie!
The city lock down is already starting. Not a dog friendly event I guess.
oh your would make da pawfect reportes of the BIG game… and that chairs are made for two scent hounds … absolutely ;O)
It would be fun to report on the game, maybe chase some players around town.
you girls looks terrific! Our family is way into basketball! in fact momβs sister and bro in law ate going! It looks like they will have fun downtown! We love your picture with the brackets. We watched that game the Gophers were in. We cheered for them! Have a great day. Awesome post. You girls have the best adventures! your friend Lilly
Do you think your mom’s sister and bro in law could sneak us in? Maybe in a large duffle bag? I know they have tons of stuff planned for humans, so they will have a good time.
I heard the teams are looking for mascots. What do you think?
We only want to be mascots for our own teams really. We could lead the crowds in howling for their teams if someone could sneak us into the games.
We watched my mom’s Florida State – until they lost. Bummer. Then we watched our adopted University of Central Florida until they lost to Duke. BIG bummer. Now we do not care what happens. We really liked your review, and no, I would not join in on the festivities. I do not like crowded, noisy gatherings. XOXO, Sparkle
It will be wall to wall people and lots of loud music. Mom would be afraid someone would step on me since I’m short. It was fun to see the setting up phase without many people around.
We aren’t basketball fans either, but we bet it is a lot of fun downtown if you are!
Not as big as the Super Bowl last winter, but they have a ton of stuff planned.
Yay and our Michigan State will be there!!
Grrr…aren’t they the mean team that kicked out Gophers to the curb? Oh well, it’s only college sports and we aren’t really fans anyway. It was fun seeing the stuff downtown, though.
I like basketball but hate Houston and LSU didnβt make the Final four!
Seems like not many favorite teams made the final four. Oh well. We had fun before it all begins.
How fun for your city, probably lots of excited people. Me, i wouldn’t venture into town either.
The city is already getting locked down. We are glad we are not very close to it all. It was fun on a quiet day, though.
I wouldn’t venture into downtown, either! Heck, I even stay away from Downtown Greenville during March Madness! College sports fans seem to come out of the woodwork here! I don’t mind college sports. It’s professional sports that I can do without.
We just like to avoid the crowds and traffic. Mom was locked up in an airplane for too many years. She can’t stand loads of people.
I think you’re great commentators. Very cute too and that’s very important.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, you two. My best to your mom. β₯
Thank you. We hope someone will hire us!
Its March Madness!!!!!
Lily & Edward
Except that it is now April and the Final Four, π
I don’t follow basketball either and wish they didn’t have it, it interrupts my normal shows. You gals look good checking it all out.
You sound just like my mom and my gramma. They hate having their TV schedule interrupted for basketball.
Looks like you girls had a blast around town and thin you would make great commentators…or maybe leaders of the pep squad!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
We want to make the fans howl!
The CT Huskies are such a winning team and unfortunately, we are not basketball fans.
Mom says she can’t love every sport and basketball is one she just can’t get interested in, BUT she enjoyed seeing what they were doing for decorating in the city.
Hoping Texas Tech does well!
They must be in the Final Four? We don’t even know who is playing besides we heard Michigan is.
Looks like you had a fun time!
It is always fun to go to new places.
We definitely won’t be watching, we don’t like basketball and anyway John’s old school is not in it.
We never watch even if MN is in it, just check scores afterwards. Still it was fun to see some of the decorations for the big weekend before they closed off the area.
I love college basketball but my favorite team got knocked out one round before the final four. Even if they were in it, I would avoid the crowds and watch it on tv. I’d love to have you two as the commentators!
Minnesota teams at all levels and in all sports always stink, so we were not surprised to fall out early. If we could be commentators we would love to go to the games.
Sounds like a wagnificent place to be!
3 bum swings! 3 more!π
Too bad that kind of excitement could be too much for meπ
πnose nudges π
Mom won’t do crowds, so we won’t be at the actual festivities. They probably are not dog friendly anyway.
