This weekend we wrote our Dear Santa letters for this year. Hopefully they will arrive at the North Pole in time as we are a bit later than usual. It is Olivia’s first year to write her Santa letter, but she did a pretty good job.
I’m letting Olivia go first since she is new at the whole holiday/Christmas thing. Thankfully, our confirmations of being on Santa’s nice list arrived. Olivia was really excited to get that mail, even though we all knew she was definitely on the nice list! Santa is so smart! He knows we love winter and snow, so he chose a snowflake pattern for our certificates.
Being only eight months old, Olivia isn’t real good at writing yet. We helped her out when she let us, but she wanted to do her own letter. Some things she didn’t know how to write, so she drew pictures instead.Β It was her idea to make the letter really colorful.
She did a good job overall, and I think Santa will figure out what she is asking for.
We all know Bailie teeters on the border for the naughty and nice list every year. She was also pretty happy to get confirmation she is on the nice list again this year.
Despite receiving confirmation, she always prepares for the naughty list just in case she does something really bad between now and Christmas Eve. The girl is always her own hound, and doesn’t ever let anyone influence her otherwise.
Her letter is pretty nice, and surprisingly, she didn’t ask for the moon!
I would have been shocked to not make the nice list as I’m a good girl. This past summer I was not very nice for a few months, but that was out of my control. Nevertheless, confirmation from Jolly Old Saint Nick is always comforting.
My life if pretty good, so I really don’t need much. I’m not big into toys, and we have so many, I definitely don’t need more. Now that my appetite has been awakened with my spay surgery, treats are going on my list. I really had to think hard to figure out what I should ask for.
Mine is the last of the dear Santa letters for this year. The felines don’t write them, and we all know cat bro Bert is always on the naughty list! We can’t figure out an email to send our letters to Santa to, so we are snail mailing them with priority mail so they get to the North Pole on time. Hopefully you and your pups have finished your letters too.
We are joining Comedy Plus for the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
It wonderful that you all made it on the Nice List. I’m not surprised one bit. I love your letters and especially Olivia’s. I laughed out loud. I’m sure you’ll all get what you asked for.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your wonderful mom. β₯
I hope we get what we asked for. We don’t need too much. Glad you enjoyed our letters.
Such sweet letters from three really nice and sweet girls.
Mom likes us to be polite, so we do our best.
We sure enjoyed your letters to Santa and I could feel him smiling big time!
I bet you kitties will get a truck load of nip and some nanners to go with it π
that are super tasty wishes… we would love some lamb lungs too… I love them a lot… da Nelly loves sardines in oil (he is weird I know)
I bet we would like sardines but Mom won’t buy any fish stuff because she doesn’t like fish. Lamb lung is so tasty!
You are all such thoughtful, kind sweethearts! I am pawsitive Santa will get you EVERYTHING on your lists. I would have been really upset if any of you had been on Santa’s naughty list! XOXO, Sparkle
Well, with Bailie, one never knows, but she always squeaks by. I think he knows she is a very sweet soul that is often naughty but means no harm.
I am sure Santa will spoil you three girls – and you deserve it!!!
If we get what is on our lists, we will all be happy.
We’re not surprised that you girls all made it on Santa’s nice list. We love your letters and we hope he brings you everything on your lists.
We sure hope so too. I think we all have been pretty good this year.
darling dogs darling post!
Awww…thank you.
What wonderful letters…Arty is still waiting for his official certifications, but Rosy and I have been put on the nice list! We sure hope you get everything you want from Santa!
xoxo,
Jakey
We always worry about Bailie until the last day as she may fall off the nice wagon, we never know.
Weβre glad yβall are on the nice list this year! We arenβt asking for much either but paws crossed we score some good stuff!
I’m sure you boys will. You are both such good boys.
Great job on your letters, girls, we think Santa will give you everything you asked for! Luke will be on the nice list too, as long as Santa doesn’t interview any of our delivery drivers. LOL
We know Luke is on the nice list. He is one nice boy who is probably really enjoying all the attention a single dog gets. Hope Santa doesn’t get in the way of any of your deliveries!
Ducky’s been a REALLY good girl this year. And all she wants for Christmas this year is something we can’t give her – she wants Radar to come home, healthy, from the Rainbow Bridge. We want that, too, but it’s just not possible. So we promised instead to get her a new brother as soon as we can.
Holidays are so hard when we lose a loved one. It’s hard even years later, but when it is fresh it really hurts. Hopefully the right brother will appear for Ducky and you can start building the family again. Radar will always be with you. We are still so sad he is gone.
Of course you are all on the good list, although iβm a bit sad the cat does not write, too. Our cats want treats, of course, and a bit more catnip.
May all of your Christmas wishes come true!
Kitty sis Sophie doesn’t like toys or treats, so there isn’t much for her to ask for except maybe getting rid of us dogs. Cat bro Bert is super naughty all the time. He can’t have toys because he eats them, yes, toy mice, stuffed catnip toys, eats them completely within minutes, and he is chubby so treats and food are limited, plus he is on a special diet food for some health issues.
We love your letters to Santa and I’m sure he will fill your list. Mom is a little late this year too the temps went up in the 50’s so it seems too early. Aspen and Mom miss Mica so we are trying to get everything done. Skyler got a new stocking and Christmas tree ornament but she is not sure what all that is for.
Just like Olivia, it is a year full of firsts. It’s hard for the humans losing a special furry one, even the second year is super tough. Hugs to you all.
Too sweet! I hope you gals get all the things you wanted for xmas.
We sure hope so too!
