I’m 11 months old today, can you even believe it? In just a month, I’ll be a year old and considered a dog, even though I know I’ll still be a puppy for a while! This month I did my photo shoot in Illinois. It was my first trip to that state, so now I have six states under my furry belt!
It was a lovely day, and since Madison was busy with nose work and I was bored to death, Mom and I took a walk down the road to do my 11 month photos. The area is nothing special, but I worked on posing on big rocks.
We thought we would try something different and get a shot of me from below. Because I’m so long, it was hard for Mom to do. She didn’t want to get too far from me because she knows I would jump down, and that would be bad. It is an interesting shot.
This is a big paint ball park normally, but it is closed in the winter. Not much to see this time of the year. Last year Madison came down to this area because she was along when Bailie was in the trial, but there was more stuff at that time.
I don’t know how many picnic tables we saw, and there were also these wood benches all over the place. In the warmer times of the year, I bet this place is super busy!
Now it is time for me to start planning my first birthday party. Mom and I already have some ideas and I am getting so excited to turn one! I will enjoy my last month as a complete puppy, but my party is going to be a real blast I think!

You are a beautiful pup! Try to not rush those years away, one day you’re young and it’s like the next day you aren’t, so enjoy your youth. It goes by quickly! 🙂 I love seeing your snowy landscapes this winter. It’s a very pretty sight but I really wouldn’t like to be out in very much. I hate it when the temperatures drop here and the wind, OMC do I ever hate that even more!
We love the cold and snow, but this winter has been warm which we don’t like. I just want to be one and then time can slow down. Once I’m one, I’m able to do a lot more stuff with sports.
You are so mature but don’t lose you puppy ness.
I’m a real puppy, but when I need to work, I’m all business, then I go back to puppy time.
11 months, time goes fast.
It was just a year ago Mom found out there might be a litter with a puppy coming up and now here we are.
