Hey everybody, Madison’s birthday week starts today! Since I’m Madison, I’m pretty excited to be just a few days away from turning four years old! For birthday week, the birthday hound gets to hog the blog, so be ready to see me for the coming week. I thought it would be fun to start with how it all began.
I was born on August 10 in a litter of ten – six boys, four girls. My parents are Debucher Greffier, who goes by Greffier, and Wilmit Fantisie, who goes by Isabeau. My daddy is actually a half brother of Emma and also came over from England. This is a photo of me at about seven weeks old. We don’t have any newborn photos.
My first birthday was a lot of fun! I started the family tradition of going on a photo shoot. Mom picked out a fun party hat and theme for my first birthday too.
We had a really fun party, just me and my sisters, Emma and Bailie. Emma was a great party planner and baker, so the party was just perfect. She even baked me a liver cake! Liver is one of my favorite things.
I had a Grand second birthday as well. Mom took me to a playground for my photo shoot, but we started on the little bridge leading over to the play area. Once again I got to pick out a super fun hat for my special day.
My party was another success. My sisters and I had a wonderful time and Emma once again baked a fabulous cake for me. This year it was a coconut and liver cake. Sadly, none of us knew this would be the last birthday of mine she would be baking for me.
Next I turned three. I had a nice photo shoot with my mom, and got to select another fun party hat for my day. I sure look happy in that photo. Who would know that inside I was full of turmoil, dealing with my phantom pregnancy at the time.
Because I was a mess, I didn’t have a regular party when I turned three. Mom took just me with her to Grandma’s house, and they celebrated by spoiling me as an only dog for a day.
Once again, it’s Madison’s birthday week. I’m looking forward to a fun week leading up to my big day, and we do have some Grand plans. Stay tuned to the blog and our Facebook page for the latest.

It’s actually on Monday, but Mom says a week is 7 days thus I get to start my celebrations today.
