We are all sleeping off the weekend this Monday! We were up so early in the morning and out walking before sunrise both days. My sisters were at the trial both days, and I was home with my sitter who came to see me for a while each day. Lots of fun, and not enough sleep makes for a snoozy Monday!
I was at the trial but only had one search each day, so I spent all day just waiting for my turn which is also quite exhausting. A lot of my canine and human friends were at the trial too. Because I’m super social, I used a lot of energy greeting them all, wagging my tail, and dancing on my back paws. Trials are so much fun, but they wear us out.
My weekend was fantastic! Not only did I have three searches each day, I got to be dog in white for two additional searches. When it is my turn, I work so very hard, it really tires me out. For me, I can’t search enough, and I do a really good job. Today, I’m hanging out in my kitchen bed with a Furballz, trying to get some rest, and hoping for some extra treats! Sleeping off the weekend is not always easy! I think I’m still riding my trial high. Come back tomorrow to hear how our weekend went at the trial.

Mom is jealous of us because she too is tired but she says she has to work to keep us in the lifestyle we are accustomed to.
And here we thoughts Monday meant back to work ~ and weekends were the easy and sleepy times! Guess that’s not the dog’s life!
Not at our house. If it is sports season, we are up early and exhausted by Sunday night.
