They call the French frogs and I am a French scent hound.
Levi sits with his legs splayed like that too. His legs are much bigger and longer than Dakota’s were, so I attribute it to that.
My obedience instructor would go nuts if he saw this. I never did anything correctly in that class.

Ducky sits like that sometimes because of her hip dysplasia / arthritis. Bogie sometimes sits like that “just because”.
I don’t have HD or arthritis yet, but sometimes I like to sit like this.

I had a cocker spaniel that sat like that all the time. We thought she was injured, but she just preferred that position. Dogs are funny people.
I don’t always sit like a frog, just sometimes. As far as I know, I’m not injured either.
