It’s National Hug Your Cat Day today, June 4th. From what I read online it is a time for humans to hug their felines to show them some love. Well, what about me, the dog? Cat Bro Bert and I have a special relationship, kind of a love/hate thing, but I do love to hug the guy. He gets mad, but he always comes back to me. I can be a bit rough sometimes, but I never hurt him.
We often snuggle a bit, and he enjoys being around me. Both of us enjoy some similar hobbies like counter surfing and stealing food when we get the chance. Finding food is the number one activity we both share here at home.
National Hug Your Cat Day doesn’t mention anything about giving your cat kisses. I really enjoy giving cat bro Bert a good squeeze with one of my jumbo pillow paws and then I kiss him on his head. He pretends he doesn’t like it, but a little light chewing and kissing is good for him, don’t you agree?
See what I mean about him getting angry? I have a good hold on him with my paw and I’m just nibbling his neck but he isn’t liking it.
Most of the time he is cooperative and lets me snuggle and cuddle him up real good. I’m totally into snuggling, so he has had to get used to it. If I let him go, he comes right back for more, so I know he doesn’t mind me being all over him. The guy is a royal pain in my furs most of the time, but we also have out tender moments. Will you be hugging your cat today?

Dogs are number one at our house which is why we have fights but we also have cuddle time. I’m the one who really interacts with the feline, my sisters are not really interested in him.
