That is a long tongue!
Little girl, long tongue!
That’s a hot dog with a very long tongue. A great shot.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
The heat is really tough when you are so short.
ooh a new species? bet they will name it after you ;O) lizardus vendeenus grandiosus?
Oh, that is a wonderful name for the new species.
The bugs better beware!
Actually, I don’t think I have ever sampled a bug.
You don’t need words to know the pup is saying “It’s hot!:
Way too hot!
That is some adorable hound lizard!
Not bad for a lizard.
I love how dogs manage their environment. Lucy has her “backyard bunny point”. She will come on point until the bunny moves, then the race is on. She will just watch birds, but when a squirrel is on the fence, there is a charge directly to the fence then a race to the finish. The squirrel always hops on the other side and disappears. Lucy was just happy for the exercise.
Squirrels are rude and love to tease us on the fence too. We all get really frustrated with them. Rabbits are not smart, so we can catch a lot of them.
Yes, good capture, especially of the lizard’s long tongue, lol!
A very long tongue.
Tee hee! I have never seen such a delightful lizard!
It is very rare.
Wow, what a tongue!
Little girl, long tongue.
That is a long tongue and curled ready to swallow your prey!
I think it was too hot for the prey too. I didn’t catch a thing.
That tongue sure looks like it can catch lots of insects! π
I think so. So far I haven’t ever tried it, though.
We bet you caught a lot of bugs like that. Chia was eating dead bugs on the porch today while the peeps had lunch, and Mom about “tossed her cookies!” XOX Xena and Lucy
Honestly, I’ve never had a bug that I know of, but I hear they are good and crunchy.
Look how still and experienced you are in this bug catching business. I sure enjoy seeing all of you. Thank you for always being so kind too.
Thank you. We are pretty nice hounds.
What a cutie!
Thank you.
AND cooling its HOT belly on the cool earth! Cinnamon finds bugs a little yucky! Have a marvellously happy day!
I have never eaten a bug but Mom says I could with my tongue.
What a long tongue you have…just like Rosy’s!
xoxo,
Sunny, Jakey and the Gang
When they made me, they added the length to my tongue instead of my legs I think.
I think this is a terrific name for this rare spotted lizard. I hope there are more sightings!!!
There will be a lot this summer I think.
Loveliest hound lizard i’ve ever seen!
Thank you.
Ooh, wow. Hound Lizards are adorable! Who knew???
Since they are rare, most folks don’t know about them.
Oooo! I am loving this new species!
A D O R A B L E!
Thank you. It is the only lizard our mom can tolerate.
