It’s time for that awww Monday morning feeling. Mondays happen every week. We know they are coming, and we all dread them but they happen anyway. At our house, we pups do our best to pretend it is not happening, but it never works out as we hope.
Look out for Madison. See that stink eye she is making? Disturbing Madison on a Monday morning is like going into a hive of angry bees!
Even our Miss Bailie, sweetest dog of all, doesn’t want to be disturbed. She is waiting patiently to be covered in a toasty warm sun puddle in her cuddle bed. Don’t you think she looks a bit like an alligator lying in wait?
I enjoy stretching out nice and long on the bed when Mom says it is time to get up. What happened to sleeping in until 5:30 or so in the morning?
When we are shagged out of bed, we head downstairs to find a comfy place to continue our slumber. Madison likes the window bed so she can watch over the neighborhood. Once again, I think she is daring the camera lady to mess with her!
It seems to me that Furballz also has the awww Monday morning feeling. He is happy to hang out with me in bed until Mom tosses us off and onto the floor. How about you? Are you a get up and go, yay it’s Monday type, or more like us, trying to stay asleep as long as possible? Either way, just four more sleeps until the weekend!
My GBGV Life is joining Comedy Plus for Awww Monday today.
we are with your madison… let sleeping dogs lie when it is moanday morning ;o)
Exactly. It’s not like we have to work!
I love Monday mornings when we get to go for walkies after breakfast, but sadly, once again, mom says it’s much too cold outside. I’m in my bed sulking just like you girls are.
We have to go out and walk in the dark every morning no matter what the weather. Now we are back in bed with full bellies from breakfast after our walks, snoozing.
5:30 AM is ridiculous. It seems mom woke you even before 530 today. I would go on strike
M – F is 5 am wake up. Ugh! We stumble downstairs and sleep some more.
Puffin and I sleeps as late as we can every morning! Fortunately Mom is not an early bird. I’m up but Puffin is still trying to nap in Mom’s lap. Have a marvelous Monday!XOXO Sparkle
Mom is an early bird, can’t even stay up to watch the news at night, but up in the dark of the night isn’t a problem!
5:30 PM – right? so you got to sleep all day? It couldn’t be 5:30 A.M. THAT is an ungodly hour and still quite dark. YAwn… this entire household is going BACK to bed. TOO cold!! Glad Mom and Dad are retired!!
Chablis
Up and out at 5 am on Mondays. It is brutal.
We stay in bed until we find out what our Mom is up to… if we see the walking clothes we are up and ready, if not we hide in be for a while.
Mom shags us out of the bed because she wants it made up nicely before she leaves the room. It is a tough life.
Awww, what great shots and I’m guessing mom got up extra early to get all these great shots. You’re all so adorable.
I’m a out of bed and ready to go kind of gal every day of the week.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
You sound just like our mom, she loves early morning time. We wish we could just snooze longer but we relocate to downstairs as necessary.
Awww is right ~ these are awesome photos of the sweet doggies ~
how I feel after the blizzard we had in MA ~ Xo
Wishing you laughter in your days,

Wish we had some of your snow. Enjoy it. I’m sure it is beautiful!
This was definitely us this morning! A true Monday. Even mom was slow this morning! We love your pictures! Here’s to Tuesday!! your friend Lilly
Mondays are always tough mornings. Mom popped up at 5 as usual, but she said she didn’t want to start the work week. Hope your Monday was filled with good napping time.
We are all always ready to start a brand new week! Us cats can’t wait for breakfast and Marv has been known to try to get Mom up early for his. Cinnamon loves her walks and she waits impatiently for Mom to dress, brush her teeths, feed the cats, push the button on the coffee maker and grab her winter jacket and boots to head out the door. But then, Mom is retired and we don’t have an alarm (except our internal one) and we don’t get mobile until after 7.
Mom doesn’t have an alarm either, but she naturally is up by 5 every day. Something is wrong with her internal clock is what we all think! Hope your week is off to a good start.
Wow what Γ₯ quity
Thank you.
Wowee- it’s a very sleepy Monday morning! Have a great week!
It is. Mondays are rough after all the fun we have on weekends!
Either up to early or sleeping too late, did anyone set the alarm clock?
Mom doesn’t need an alarm clock as she wakes up by 5 all on her own and then she wakes us up.
We sure wouldn’t have known about your grumpy Mondays, there’s just cute overload everywhere!
We are not really grumpy, just sleepy.
Mondays are too much, but i get up and do them anyway. Take an extra snooze for me, okay?
Mom says she feels the same way but she has to get up and get going Monday mornings too.
I am a big morning dog and, if Mama and Daddy sleep even a little late, I lick their faces until they get up! Jakey is never very happy about that because he really likes to sleep in. Sunny can go either way.
xoxo,
Rosy
We all would like to sleep longer, but our human is a definite early morning creature.
Awwwww….some images of the pups. The second image is simply priceless. I have felt exactly the same way some Monday mornings.
Thank you. We would really love to sleep in. When Bailie is home with the pet sitter, she gets to sleep in until 8 o’clock sometimes. We could never do that with our mom around.
Your photos are very nice and the model so cute ! Thank you also for your kind comment about my husband’s disease !
Thank you. Mom knows how tough the disease is from her own dad. It is a long and hard road, but all you can do is hope he is having a good day when you visit and if not, then keep it short.
I know you know we have that same crate and love it! I just don’t have anything inside of it because Levi would eat it lol. Dakota never used the “big crate” as we called it, Levi moved into it as he got much too large for the smaller one. He LOVES the crate!
We all take turns sleeping in it during the day as the door is always open. It is like a really cozy den and our pillow in there is nice and comfy too. One day Levi will stop eating things and he too can have a cushion.
